Hey guys, and welcome everybody to a little video, a little video reminder. So I’m just recording this very, very quick video because I want to let you guys know that I will be running a webinar sometime this week, most likely on Wednesday, going through the 2022 selective test. So I know a lot of parents have been asking me, Steven, when are we going to hear from you about 2022 selective test? When are we going to do a webinar? When are we going to talk about the questions? When are we going to go through in-depth? What exactly happened in the 2022 selective tests? And, you know, I’ve been very, very busy lately, developing a whole bunch of new systems and materials for our current students. And one of the things that I’ve done is I’ve kind of gone through and analyze tests based on what our kids have told us. And I’m very, very excited to be putting together I think about an hour to an hour and a half presentation on what the 2022 selective tests was like, and I’ll be releasing some of the modeled questions based on the 2022 selective test.
Now, based on what I’ve seen already, and based on what you guys probably heard over the last few weeks, it was a very, very different selective test to the prior years, right? It was very different to the sample selective test. That was very, very different, even the 2021 selective test. And what I want to say is that this selective test or oc test has probably been the biggest change, right, that I’ve ever seen in any selective test or oc test from like a year to year basis, right? So I’m talking about like, when you go over, literally when you go over the last 10 years, because I’ve been in this industry for the last, you know, seven, eight years. And every single year, the changes in the selective tests or oc test are very, very small, right? Obviously, we had the big change in 2021. But even from you know, even before that, from 2019, to 2018, to 2019, and 2017, 2018, 2020, to 2019 to 2020. Really the changes weren’t that big, but this time, it was huge. And I think it’s very, very important that you guys understand what the actual changes are.

I think not enough people are actually talking about how crazy difficult the selective test or oc test is now, right? I think a lot of people are going to be in for a little bit of a shock when the results come out. You know, this, this July or whenever the results come out. Because I think a lot of people weren’t prepared, like a lot of people weren’t prepared well. And we know for a fact that thinking skills are very hard. We know for a fact that writing topic was kind of out of the norm, right, it was very, very different to what I think you would have seen in the sample selective test and oc test in the 2021 test. And even with English, there was no close passage. So I think there are a lot of really interesting things to note, there are very interesting pattern questions in terms of number codes. And you know, the thinking skills are almost reminiscent of the old GA slash, just, you know, very, very new kind of, you know, kind of code questions that have never been seen before. And so we’ll be talking about that all this Wednesday, at 7pm. So make sure that you put that in your calendar, make sure that you rock up and you turn up.
And a great way to make sure that you actually don’t miss out on the webinars because I know a lot of parents like I make a mention, I put posts up and a lot of parents just forget that the webinar is going to happen. The great way of doing that is just liking the video right now. So if you liked the video, and you just comment down below, if you’re going to be there, like comment down below … on webinar, we can actually send you a reminder so that you’ll be reminded that we will be going live. If you don’t like the video and you don’t comment, then what will often happen is Facebook won’t show you the material that we give you. Does that make sense? So just if all six or seven people on this webinar- on this video right now can just like it, that’ll be great. Again, if you do have any specific questions for me, please let me know in the comments down below. If you want to know any specific things about writing or any specific things about English or any specific kind of training methodologies, just let me know. Let me know in the comments down below. And I’ll definitely address them on Wednesday. Anyway, see you guys soon. And I hope you guys will have a great day. Bye!
