  1. Speech for President
    My fellow citizens,
Today, I stand before you not as a politician, but as a servant of the people. I am running for president because I believe in the power of unity, the strength of integrity, and the promise of a future shaped by bold ideas and honest leadership.

Our nation faces challenges that demand more than slogans. We need solutions rooted in reason, compassion, and courage. I offer a vision that puts people first. A vision where every child receives a quality education, every worker earns a fair wage, and every family feels secure in their home and community.

I have spent my life listening, learning, and leading. I understand the struggles of small business owners, the concerns of teachers, the hopes of students, and the sacrifices of our veterans. These experiences have shaped my commitment to policies that uplift rather than divide.

If elected, I will prioritize education reform that prepares our youth for the future. I will invest in clean energy to protect our environment and create jobs. I will fight for affordable healthcare that covers every citizen, not just the fortunate few. I will strengthen our infrastructure, modernize our transportation systems, and ensure that rural and urban communities alike share in our progress.

I believe in a government that is transparent, accountable, and responsive. Corruption has no place in public service. I will work tirelessly to restore trust in our institutions and ensure that your voice is heard in every decision we make.

Our democracy thrives when we engage with one another respectfully. I will lead with empathy, not ego. I will listen to those who disagree, seek common ground, and never forget that leadership is a privilege earned through service.

This campaign is not about me. It is about us. It is about building a country where opportunity is not limited by zip code, where justice is not delayed, and where freedom is not compromised. It is about creating a future that honors our past while embracing innovation and progress.

I ask for your support not because I claim to have all the answers, but because I am committed to asking the right questions, listening to your concerns, and working with you to build a better tomorrow.

Together, we can rise above division. Together, we can shape a nation that reflects our highest ideals. Together, we can make history.

    Thank you. Let us begin.

  2. Sorry for any inconvenience Scholarly Staff, but there are no day 5 slides provided in the shared folder above. Can you please check?

  3. How long do we need to wait until we take care of the president’s poor choices. Me Jacob would fix everything.Let me take you back to Year 5. I was unexpectedly chosen for a public speaking competition. I was nervous, shaky, and absolutely convinced I’d trip over my own shoelaces. But I stood up, I spoke about multiculturalism and I won. That moment taught me something. When I speak, people listen. And when I care, I commit fully. That’s why I’m standing here today, asking for your vote to be president.
Let’s be real. You’re not voting for a superhero. You’re voting for a kind man who will lead the country to glory, fame and also help the community. All those unfair decisions we disappeared with new fair decisions being knowledged. I believe a country should be a place where everyone’s voice is heard, not just the loudest ones. A place where ideas are encouraged, not shut down.
We believe in a country that’s fair, fun, and full of opportunities.
    We believe in us.
So I ask you. Do you want another 4 years of being unheard, or do you want someone who’s already stood up and spoken out and won?
I will listen. I will lead. I will learn.
Vote for someone who’s already shown they can speak up for something important and now wants to speak up for everything.

SPEECH: A FUTURE WE BUILD TOGETHER

    Good morning, my fellow citizens,

Today, we stand at a turning point in our nation’s history, a time to choose not just a leader but a vision for the future. Leadership is not about power or fame; it is about compassion, courage, and the willingness to serve others. When I was younger, I once saw a neighbour share their last meal with someone in need. That simple act showed me that true leadership begins with kindness and a heart that cares.

My name is Riya, and I am standing before you today, asking for your trust and your vote to become the next President of our great nation. You, the people, have the power to shape our country’s future.

Right now, one in five families struggle to meet their daily needs. I believe we can change that. I believe that with unity, honesty, and courage, we can build a nation that offers hope to all.

Do we not all dream of safer streets, better education, and equal opportunities? Do we not all wish to see our country rise stronger than ever before?

Together, we can make this dream real. We can stand as one people, one nation, with one goal: a brighter tomorrow. Our country can soar like an eagle, proud and unstoppable.

I promise to lead with integrity, to listen to every voice, and to serve with courage, compassion, and commitment.

So, when you cast your vote, remember you are not just voting for me but for a future built on unity, justice, and hope. Vote for Riya. Together, we can build a better nation.

  5. Me Being President

Imagine a World War 3, overridden with death, conflict and most importantly, tragedy right here, in the land-down-under, all because the president chose to not give imported goods from a tariff ordered by Donald Trump. It’ll be hell for all of us. That’s why, if you vote for me as being president of Australia, not only would I try to prevent the impact of “World War 3”, but respect all of the Indigenous Elders of this Land, Past, Present and Future. I would also like to help all people in this Land who belong here to receive quality healthcare. All you need is your Medicare card, not your credit card, nor debit card. If I am president, I will help with the cost of housing and mitigate it. People in poverty shouldn’t have to get 10 000 dollars just to get a single apartment room. Together, If you vote for me, we can create a better future, opportunities and make a better Australia.

  6. “I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: ‘We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal.'”

    – Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Hello fellow Australians, today, I have began my speech with one of the most famous quotes from one of the world’s greatest leaders because that quote captures the entire vision I have for this country. That vision is every human living in Australia, regardless of their race, culture or religion can be given freedom and a voice to speak. My dream is also a society where racism has no place, and where equality and justice are the foundations of the community.

But, as Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. understood and said, dreams are not enough. Words and wishes are not enough. Action is required. And that is why I am standing before you today; not a candidate running for president, but as someone who believes that with the right leader and the right actions, change can be made. With the right motivation, Australia can be country that leads other nations to put out inequality.

Australia is a diverse country made up of many people from all around the world. From the First Nations people to the many migrants who have contributed to our country’s growth. Despite the diversity of people in our country, some refuse to accept that we are all different in a unique way. Racism has been an ongoing issue in Australia for thousands of years.

Discrimination isn’t a distant problem. It is with us, even right now. Divergence is alive, at workplaces, schools, hospitals, everywhere. If I was elected as Australia’s president, we could confront this crisis as a nation. Together, we can create a place where fairness, justice and respect are the values and equality is not a far away dream. This is my dream.

  7. anshika-rajeshkannan

Good afternoon, my fellow citizens of Australia,

Today I, Anshika, will be sharing with you on why you should elect me as the Prime Minister of Australia. To me, Australia is not just a country– it’s a feeling of connection, a place where everyone is valued and supported. It’s a place where we all come together to help, prosper and support on this journey of life. Being a leader isn’t about ordering people and treating them as your servants but rather the choice to serve. As a leader, I will not stand above you but with you. Real leadership does not come from one person but from all of us. Together, I believe we all can make Australia better, a place where everyone feels safe and included, a place that everyone calls home.

As said, here are a few initiatives I would take to make a positive change to Australia and our people.

One of my top concerns is for emergency healthcare workers. People who work in the emergency health care unit wake up every single day to save someone’s life. They tirelessly sacrifice their sleep, their cherished family memories and their personal well-being to help someone else. Emergency healthcare workers don’t work only for money but also to save lives. This is why I will work towards creating a more flexible and fair scheduling system, such as rotational 4-day work weeks or mandatory rest days, depending on their needs and hospital staffing. To support this, we’ll boost funding for healthcare to ensure hospitals can operate smoothly and staff are properly paid. When we care for our carers, they can better care for us.

Another initiative that I would take as your Prime Minister would be to make education and resources free for all. Five in Ten families say that they are concerned about being able to afford school-related items such as uniforms and electronic devices. I believe that education should be free for all students isn’t something which shouldn’t be given because of money. By giving all the kids of our county free resources, they can get equal rights as everyone else, also reducing the bullying environment in school, a major problem that is arising. I believe by investing in every student’s education, we not only create a steady future but also improve the future of our country. In the next few decades, these kids will lead our country. Each child has amazing potential and it is our job to guide them. Should a school uniform really be the reason why a child couldn’t fulfil their dreams? Should some stationery be the reason why we lost a future lawyer or doctor?

Finally, I will ensure that each suburb has at least 30% of green space. When I was younger, I saw the suburb I live in grow from a beautiful greenery to a place filled with infrastructure. The kangaroos, which once roamed around the wild bushes, were chased away from their homes, only their footprints, which were embedded in the concrete left behind. From that day, I realised that we humans are knowingly or unknowingly destroying the homes of all the other creatures we share the land with. Because of this experience, I believe that by having 30% of green space in each suburb, we not only ensure that all other habitats have somewhere to live but also that we become a sustainable and green country.

To conclude, I only ask for one thing: your trust. Trust me with your vote for Prime Minister so that we can make Australia even better. With all of our similarities and differences, from all our perspectives and backgrounds, together we can prosper. We can be a nation that doesn’t connect because of the voice of one, but by the harmony of many. We are not a collection of isolated lives– we are a river. Each of us begins with a single stream, flowing from our own hills, our own stories and our own hopes. And yet, when we come together, we form something way more powerful: a strong current enough to move mountains, deep enough to carry generations, and wide enough to make the dreams come true of millions. Let’s not drift apart from uncertainty or fear- but flow forwards, together, towards a future shaped by unity, community and the belief that even though we are all many, we are one.

There is only one thing stopping us.
    Vote for Anshika!

  8. Why People Should Vote For Me As President Of Australia
Do you want to have a president that cares about the people of Australia? Hi my name is Ibrahim Adil and today I am talking about Why You Should Vote for me as your president.

First of all, let’s talk about me. Why I should be president is because I am nice, trustworthy and someone you can rely on. I was a leader of the school for a year. That’s why you should vote for me as president.

I am also quick to answer. If you have any problems I’ll be there as fast as a cheetah. Everyone in Australia will deserve Equal Human Rights and everyone will get a say. And I will promise that I will always, always, always help a person in need.

And finally I promise that I will no longer rest until everyone is settled and relaxed and has a home and no one will be homeless under my rule and I promise. Until then let us rise, let’s come together and create a country that no one will ever know that it was Australia.

Why I want to become president is because I want to help.Millions of people are starving and do not have a home. I want a change!

  9. WHY I SHOULD BE PRIME MINISTER by Nikita

Hello, ladies and gentlemen of Australia. I believe that I am more than capable of being the
greatest prime minister Australia has known. So lets face it, not every great prime minister is perfect, and neither am I. But that isn’t what would make me the greatest prime minister, what would, though are these three things: I care, I believe that everyone deserves to be included and I want to stop climate change.

I care about every single Australian citizen– every teacher, student, factory worker, etc. I also believe that everyone deserves to be included, no matter what they look like, what their religion is or where they are from. I want to make sure that every immigrant to Australia is treated like an equal, like they belong. I want to make sure that every single child that has been bullied has a place. I want to make sure that both races walk together hand in hand with no discrimination whatsoever.

Lastly I want to stop climate change. With every coming year the weather gets hotter, more stuffy and even harder to suffer through. I cold make Australia the first country in the whole world to be 100% sustainable, which means no more plastic bags, no more petrol emissions, and much more Reuse, Reduce, Recycle!

And that is why you should vote for me as your prime minister. I care, I include, I sustain.
