Tuesday lunchtime took a dramatic turn in 5 Green when what started as an innocent snack turned into a full-blown jelly disaster.
I was sitting nearby when it happened. One moment Leo was peeling the lid off his raspberry jelly pot. The next — SPLAT! Jelly flew through the air like a flying saucer on a mission.
“It attacked me!” said Daisy, who was still wiping jelly from her blazer. “I ducked, but it was too late. It hit me right in the eye!”
Several witnesses claim the jelly soared at least two tables across before landing on Josh’s lunch. His expression said it all.
“My chicken wrap will never recover,” Josh told me, holding up a very pink tortilla. “It’s now jelly-wrapped sadness.”
The incident caused a chain reaction: a toppled juice box, a dropped fork, and even a mashed potato splatter that somehow ended up on the floor. Mrs Thompson, the lunch monitor, arrived swiftly.
“There was jelly on the window,” she confirmed. “The window!”
Leo, looking sticky and deeply embarrassed, admitted, “It was an accident. I didn’t know jelly could be that powerful.”
The canteen staff have since added a new rule: no jelly lids are to be opened without adult supervision.
This event will go down in 5 Green history. Some are calling Leo “The Jellynator.” Others are just avoiding pudding altogether.
One thing’s for sure: no one will ever look at jelly the same way again.

The Tragic Accident: The Truth Unveiled
On the night October 15th 2025 a family of 5 disappeared without any trace. Detectives are still on the case.
What happened that night was tragic. There were no footprints, no noise, no signs of attack. It was a blank to the detectives. No trace at all.
But at the dawn of October 16th, there was a reported case about the family who was missing yesterday night. That someone was from that family and was the oldest son. He was taken to the hospital that night.
After he was checked on, the detectives asked for information. What he said was shocking. He said “We were driving to the woods that afternoon but when we arrived someone came up to the car and told us to follow us into this warehouse and then when they weren’t looking I escaped.” So the detectives went to the warehouse and found them in chains. So they took them out but as soon as they came out there were 10 men outside waiting for them. But there were 100 police behind them. So they were taken to the hospital to get checked and they were fine. But this day will never be forgotten by them until the end.
This is the right one

At Pinewood Summer Camp, drama usually fades with the sun on the horizon. This year, things were heating up in cabin twelve. In the centre of this drama was two girls who couldn’t stand the sight of each other. Sophie and Ava arrived at camp on the same day — but from the moment they met, it was clear that they were not meant to be friends. Sophie was glitter and confidence. With perfect braids, color-coordinated outfits, and a loud laugh that carried across the lake, she was the kind of girl who walked into a room and made sure you knew she was there. Ava, on the other hand, was quiet but sharp. She had that quiet confidence that didn’t need to shout and she saw right through Sophie from day one.
The two girls were opposites in every possible way and they hated each other. It started with the trust fall challenge. They were forced to pair up. “Don’t drop me,” Sophie said. “Don’t be so dramatic,” Ava replied. Sophie swore Ava let her fall on purpose. Ava rolled her eyes. That night, Sophie “accidentally” knocked Ava’s water bottle over onto her pillow. Ava found Sophie’s favorite shampoo the next day… dumped out behind the arts & crafts shed.
The whole cabin just wanted to have peace, to get along but Sophie and Ava made things difficult. The days that followed were full of petty revenge. Sophie glitter bombed Ava’s camp clothes. Ava replaced Sophie’s bug spray with pepper spray. Then came the fake love letter Ava planted in Sophie’s bunk, which Sophie read aloud during breakfast before realizing… it was fake. Even the counselors got involved, warning both girls to stop the chaos. But the war had become a full-blown camp legend. Other cabins were keeping score. Some campers even placed bets on who would win. Then came the big event: The Willow Ridge Night Games. Naturally, Sophie and Ava were put on the same team. They bickered through every challenge until the final round, a canoe relay, forced them to work together. “If we sink, it’s your fault,” Sophie muttered. “If we win, it’s mine,” Ava shot back.
They didn’t win. But they didn’t sink, either. And when they stepped out of the canoe, something had shifted. “You didn’t totally mess that up,” Sophie said. Ava smirked. “You either. Shockingly.” That was the end of the war. They didn’t become besties. They didn’t braid each other’s hair. But for the first time all summer, Cabin 12 had peace. And somewhere between the glitter attacks and canoe races, they’d both learned a valuable lesson.

These two girls hated their school and loved to rebel.

Chaos on Athletics Day: The Hurdle That Went Wrong
Athletics Day was meant to be the highlight of the school year, full of cheering crowds, colourful house banners, and students ready to show off their speed. Everything started perfectly. Sprints, long jump, and relays ran smoothly, and the excitement was contagious. But the day quickly took a dramatic turn during the 100-metre hurdles.
As the runners lined up, the sky was clear and the crowd was buzzing with anticipation. One of the fastest runners, Sarah, sprinted with perfect form, but just as she jumped the third hurdle, she tripped and fell hard on the track. Gasps filled the air as students and teachers rushed over. Her ankle looked badly twisted, and tears ran down her face. The race immediately stopped as everyone waited in tense silence.
Teachers quickly called the first-aid team while classmates offered support. Students watched anxiously as Sarah was carefully helped off the track. Despite the accident, the rest of the events continued, but the mood had shifted. Cheers were quieter, and everyone reminded each other to be extra careful.
By the end of the day, Sarah was smiling from her wheelchair, joking with friends and showing incredible bravery. That Athletics Day was supposed to be about victory and fun, but it became a lesson in caution, teamwork, and looking out for one another. The chaos and worry had brought everyone closer, making it a day no one would ever forget.

The Talent Show Twist
When the curtain rose that Friday night, the air in Crestwood High’s auditorium pulsed with anticipation. The annual school talent show had always been a cheerful mix of singing, dancing, and comedy, but no one expected this year’s event to spiral into such delicious chaos. Teachers leaned forward in their seats, students whispered in the dark, and a hush fell as the next act strode confidently onto the stage.
Something Spectacular
Year Nine student Liam Turner had promised something “spectacular.” Rumours had spread all week about his mysterious act involving light, sound, and a secret prop. As he positioned himself centre stage, spotlights gleaming off his silver jacket, even the judges exchanged curious looks.
“This one’s going to be good,” someone whispered.
The Surprise
Music thudded through the speakers, and Liam began a slick dance routine:precise, fast, impressive. But the real drama began when he activated his “surprise.” With a flourish, he pressed a button on a small remote. Instantly, a series of flashing LED strips lit up around the stage, forming glowing patterns that pulsed with the rhythm of the song. The audience cheered, until the lights began to blink uncontrollably.
Within seconds, the stage erupted in chaos. The speakers crackled and faded, the music warped and died, and the curtain twitched like it had a life of its own. Liam froze, then tried pressing the remote again, but the system had gone rogue. The lights danced wildly, spilling over the crowd, turning the whole hall into an uninvited disco. Some screamed, some laughed, and Mr. Perkins, the drama teacher, ran backstage yelling, “Pull the plug!”
Zoe’s Rescue
Through the confusion, one person kept her cool: Liam’s best friend, Zoe. She sprinted to the control panel, scanned the cables, then pulled out the main one and plunged the room into darkness. For a long, breathless moment, there was silence. Then, the crowd broke into applause
When the lights returned, Liam stood embarrassed under the spotlight, his face flushed. “Guess I made it too spectacular,” he said, grinning weakly. Even the principal laughed, and the tension melted into cheers.
Highlight of the Show
The mishap quickly became the night’s highlight. No one remembered the flawless singers or polished pianists as clearly as the wild light show gone wrong. The following Monday, students still buzzed about “the great blackout,” replaying videos of flashing lights and Liam’s stunned expression.
Though his act didn’t win first place, it certainly won the crowd’s heart; and a permanent place in school legend. Sometimes, it turns out, the best performances are the ones that don’t go according to plan.
