Reading comprehension

• Practice reading and interpreting a variety of texts, including fiction, non-fiction, and poetry
• Practice identifying the main ideas;  purpose, audience, tome, and supporting details in a text
• Practice making inferences and draw conclusions based on what they have read
• Practice interpreting context clues; figurative language, including metaphors and similes

Mathematical Reasoning

• Review and practice mathematical concepts and skills, including number sense, algebra, geometry, and statistics
• Review mental calculation strategies and estimation techniques to solve problems.
• Practice interpreting and analysing data presented in graphs, tables, and charts.

Thinking Skills Assessments

• Develop and practice skills in analysing arguments, relevant selection, logical statements, logic games and codes, and spatial reasoning.
• Practice using critical thinking skills to analyse and evaluate information.
• Practice using research and creative thinking  skills to gather and synthesise information from a variety of sources.

Small group sessions on Zoom (6-11kids per class).

Trial Tests for Online English, Mathematical Reasoning and Thinking Skills open on Monday 4PM, enabling students to attempt these tests at their own leisure. Furthermore, worked solutions are provided for all math and thinking skills questions with the option of unlimited retries (by contacting our team) once a student has submitted their first trial. All Trial Tests will be available through the end of term plus an additional three weeks period. Our dedicated live review sessions via Zoom provide extra support – details outlined below – ensuring success in completing your Trials!
