Where are all the materials I need?
All materials relevant to your program will be posted on your workplace group, everything is there including all details you need to access the materials.
Where is the homework?
All homework will be posted on your group with instructions all you need to do is download and complete the homework, online (by putting your answers in a separate word doc or using a pdf markup software) or offline (by writing your answers on a separate sheet of paper).
The homework post will resemble the image below.
How do I complete the homework?
Homework will be uploaded after your class. All you need to do is open or download the PDF’s and complete your answers in a separate word doc like the image below.
You can even write out the answers on a sheet of paper and take a photo for uploading.
Answers will come out 24 hours after the homework is released.
Make sure you upload the homework after it is marked.
Where are the homework answers?
Homework answers will be uploaded to the Google Drive link at the top of your group. Holiday program answers will be uploaded by 6pm the same day and Term program answers will be uploaded within 24 hours. You don’t need to mark writing, we will give you feedback for each writing assignment.
How do I upload the homework?
Mark your homework and upload it to the same homework post you downloaded from.
For example, upload your math and thinking skills homework to the math and thinking skills homework post. You can upload your homework as a pdf, word document or image.
To upload click the paperclip icon, then select your file and attach it, once you have attached the file press enter to upload and post as a comment.
Weekly Trial Tests
Where are the trial tests?
The trial tests are posted on your group every week.
If you are in the Holiday program you will be completing a trial test via pdf, process is the same as homework. The trial test will be uploaded every Tuesday at 2pm.
If you are in the Term program your trial test will be hosted on the online test portal. We will be posting the link to online test portal on your group every Monday at 4pm. The post will look like the image below.
Once you click the link in the post it will take you to the trial test platform.
How do I navigate the trial test platform?
How do I do my tests?
Once you have clicked the link in your workplace group you will be taken to the following webpage, here you will see all your completed tests. To see your upcoming tests you need to click the text (THE TITLE) of your course. So in this case the words 2021 One Percent OC Term 3.
Once you have clicked the title of your course you will be taken to the next page to complete your trial tests.
How do I check results?
Follow the promts in the images below.
From your tests page click my account in the top right hand corner. This will take you to your account page.
Then click the little drop down arrow for the week you would like to view.
Then click the small file icon under the statistics column for the test you would like to view.
This will show you the results from that test including every question correct/incorrect and the time spent on each question/whole test.
Where do I get the vocab lists?
If vocab lists/vocab jam is included in your program every week we will upload a copy both via pdf and to the vocabulary.com platform. The pdf copy of the vocab list will be posted on your group as shown below.
To see the vocab lists on your online vocabulary.com account you need to register for the classroom as shown in the next step.
How do I join the vocabulary classroom to see my lists online?
In the first week of the program we posted the instructions to join the vocabulary classroom. To find that post and join search ‘classroom’ in your workplace group search bar and the post will pop up.
This is what the post will look like. To join the classroom click the link in the post and you will be taken to vocabulary.com register an account or join with your existing account.
Register an account here or join with your existing account and every week you will be able to see your new vocab lists.
How do I join the Vocab Jam?
The vocab jam will be hosted during your weekend class. All the instructions will be given then.
To join the vocab jam all you need to do is click the link and input the code given to you in the post uploaded during the break of your class.

Once you click the link input the 6 digit code in the available spaces and click the button “Join the Jam” to begin.
