Dear esteemed council,
I hope this email finds you well. I am writing this email to express my concern on the limited amount of parks and green spaces in our community. As our population starts to skyrocket, more and more people are present in our area and it is crucial to increase the number of parks to benefit the residents and environment.
Environmental benefits:
Parks provide many different benefits that if present in our community, would make us a renowned suburb. Parks benefit the environmental state of our community by providing fresh air along with more trees that allow blossom.
Social benefits:
Green spaces and parks also give social cohesion acting like a place for residents knitting a making a nice and close knitted community and produce a sense of belonging.
Economic benefits:
Parks can increase the economic state of our area by boosting local businesses, acting as tourist attractions and creating more job opportunities such as maintenance and development.
To conclude, parks would be a helping hand to the entire community by providing economic benefits, increasing social activity and providing a safer environment for everyone to live in.

Dear Council Members, I would like to suggest adding more parks and green spaces as they are important for a person’s well being. As someone who enjoys being out in nature, there are limited parks for children, pets and adults to go out for fresh air. Parks are a place where adults and children can rest from their stressed lives and take some time to enjoy Earth’s breath-taking beauty. This social matter deeply affects me as I and many other residents would like fun, entertaining places, like parks, where we can connect with nature.
It has been shown in recent studies that most people have no time and place to interact with nature. Our community does not need to be affected by inadequate time with nature. Parks and green spaces can change this. It would allow inhabitants of this town to thrive with the nature that would surround this area. It has been shown in another research conducted by local scientists that most citizens of our beloved town spend way less time with nature compared to other towns. This leads to results like more stress, depression and not having time for yourself. Adding parks can make our town a better place and make inhabitants lively.
Where should children go when they want to play with their friends? They could go to the overcrowded parks in the area, but there is generally not enough space to play a proper game. Expanding the amount of parks would not only allow children to play but create a space for adults to freely go for a short run. Imagine smiles on children’s faces when they score a goal. For a town to thrive, the citizens need to have some sort of enjoyment in the area that they reside in and parks would enable this.
Respectable Council Members, I hope you consider my suggestion as it will deeply benefit the town in my and many others perspectives. I would love to see my vision come true: Children running around, without any hesitation of bumping into someone else, parents supervising their children while talking to the other parents and everyone’s health improving with more parks. Do you not want to see this? Increasing the parks in the town will definitely make my wish come true.
