The car went crazy fast as I really wanted to get the beach as fast as I could. The moment the car stopped, I jumped out of the car and raced to warm sandy beach.
The air smelled clean and fresh because of the sea. The crispy smell of fish and chips filled the air making all the seagulls and people hungry. The amazing odour of sea salt penetrated the delicious scent of hotdogs.
The clear sky stretched all the way to the horizon making the beach a magnificent sight. The sight of kids building sandcastles and playing in the water warmed my heart. Seeing seagulls squawking and kids shouting made me want to jump in to the ocean and just chill. Before I knew it, I was already in the ocean swimming around.
My nerves and skin cooled down as the heat was no match for the reliable ocean. As I bathed in the ocean I accidentally swallowed a mouthful of water. I tasted like normal salt but liquified.
I decided it was time for a walk along the beautiful coast of the beach. As my bare feet touched the wet and soggy sand, the relaxing sensation spread though my body. All of my muscles calmed while the sunset casting silhouettes on the people still playing in the water. I wiggled my toes around in the sand. It was unimaginably loosening.
The sound of seagulls flying away for the night and people leaving made me a little a sorrowful but I reminded myself that I could always come back another day.
Walking barefoot on the beach, I feel many different things under my feet. The sand is soft and warm, and moving my toes feels nice. But when I go closer to the water, the sand gets wet and squishy, and my feet sink in slightly. If I stand still, the waves wash over my feet and make the sand feel like it’s pulling me down a little. It feels funny like the beach is playing a game with me.
Sometimes, I step on little rocks and shells. Some are smooth and round, and they feel nice, but others are rough and a bit pokey. I must be careful not to step on sharp ones because that would hurt a lot! There are also tiny pebbles that make my feet feel bumpy when I walk on them. They don’t hurt, but they make it harder to walk.
There is also seaweed on the beach. Some of it is dry and crunchy, making a crackly sound when I step on it. Other seaweed is wet and slimy, and it feels a bit weird between my toes. Sometimes, it sticks to my feet, and I try to shake it off because it tickles.
When I walk in the water, the waves rush over my feet, and the water feels cool and fresh. The sand under the water is smooth and a little harder than the dry sand, so it’s easier to walk on. But sometimes, tiny fish or crabs move near my toes, making me jump because it feels so unexpected!
Further up the beach, the sand feels different again near the dunes. It is dry and light, and it sticks to my skin. When the wind blows, the sand moves around my feet, feeling soft but a little scratchy. If I try to walk up a dune, my feet sink, and it’s hard to climb. But when I get to the top, I can see the whole beach, which looks gorgeous.
Walking barefoot on the beach is fun because every step feels different. The sand can be soft, rough, warm, or cool. The water is smooth and refreshing, making the shells and rocks enjoyable. I like how the beach feels on my feet because it makes me feel happy and free.
The breeze floated around me, my long dress flowing against the wind. The soft, warm sand tickled my toes as I walked barefoot. I stopped and looked at the beautiful horizon painting before me. The cold, icy water whooshed up at me, leaving a chilly trace. I watched the playful dolphins jumping wildly and they stare at me, beckoning me to join. I sigh a deep sigh and step once again, this time I stepped onto a seashell, prickling my foot. It actually feels quite nice, a sudden jolt of spikiness. The seaweed felt slimy and gave me an unpleasant sensation. I saw the nearby joggers and children, laughing and enjoying this wonderful beach. It feels like it’s a magic beach; a beach full of different wonderful feeling, each one making my body tingle with magic. Happily frolicking on other people’s footsteps, it feels like there was only me on the beach today. No one could be heard, not even distant noises. Just me, the sand, the sea, the animals and the wind. We all take a delightful rest and do sand angels. The sand trickled through my body, some even getting into my light hair. No one here to ask me where the sunscreen is, just me lying on the sandy floor, gazing at the faraway animals and splashes. The crisp gust felt like fairies on my soft skin. They danced and danced, tickling me. The salty, oily taste of the fish and chips melted my mouth. Of course, they were mouthwatering. I gulped down my soothing juice and slurped it all up. As I finished my meal, it was time to walk across the pleasing coast. The soggy wet sand squished between my toes and a sensational feeling tingled my body, I breathed the tangy air, and my muscles loosened, free of the tense, clutched feeling. I saw the palm trees swaying alongside the wind, making me also move. Happy thoughts flooded my mind, and I cartwheeled across the floor. I laughed and the atmosphere echoed me, loud thumps blasting out. Walking on the beach is so joyful and relaxing, I’m definitely going again.
One sunny afternoon, my family and I decided to go to Clovelly beach. As I stepped on to shore, I was struck by the texture of the sand beneath my feet. It felt uneven and prickly, almost like tiny thorns, into fine grains. The heat from the sun made the sand surprisingly hot, burning my toes and prompting me to dance across the shore to search for a cooler spot. The sea was crystal clear. When I was swimming the sea was splashing towards me. As I came closer to the sea, I was amazed how it was writhing. The wind was going through my body. When I was walking the wind was still because it was starting to rain. It was both delightful and intense.
