The All-Access Pass — Scholarly Training 2026
SCHOLARLY TRAINING · 2026

The All-Access Pass

One enrolment. Every term. A dedicated Success Coach. All the way to the test. Pay less than term-by-term — and get everything included free.

No switching. No gaps. No Frankenstein preparation. One system. One coach. One result.

The Frankenstein preparation strategy is destroying your child’s chances.

English specialist here. Thinking Skills tutor there. Trial tests at a third place. Workbooks from the bookstore. Writing sessions with a private tutor. Five providers, five systems, five invoices. Nobody has the full picture.

It’s a leaking tap. Each individual leak seems small. But over 12 months, you’ve lost thousands of dollars and — worse — months of productive preparation time. Death by a thousand cuts.

THE FRANKENSTEIN APPROACH — What Most Families Actually Do

PARENT (project manager) English Tutor $150–200/week Thinking Skills $80–90/week Writing Tutor $120/session Trial Test Centre $40/test × 20 Workbooks Maths Tutor ✗ No shared data ✗ No shared data Each provider operates in isolation

Every dashed line is a broken connection. The English tutor doesn’t know what the Thinking Skills tutor sees. The trial test centre doesn’t know what your child practiced that week. You are the only person trying to hold it all together.

🔀

Every switch costs a full term

It takes 3–4 weeks to assimilate to a new coaching college — new materials, new teaching style, new expectations. By the time your child adjusts, you’re already thinking about switching. Over 4 terms, that’s an entire term lost to transitions alone.

📊

Your child’s data disappears every time

Leave a centre and their diagnostic trends, homework patterns, weak topic identification — all gone. Start from zero. Again. The All-Access Pass keeps every data point in one LMS for 12–15 months. Trends become visible. Patterns become actionable.

🧩

The English specialist doesn’t know the maths

Your English tutor sees inference is weak. But they can’t see that the root cause is vocabulary weakness — which also shows up in maths word problems and thinking skills questions. Without cross-subject visibility, you treat symptoms, not causes.

🏗️

Nobody knows the scholarship landscape

Your English specialist comes from a selective school background. They don’t know which private schools offer scholarships, the ACER vs AAS difference, application timelines, or interview formats. In the hierarchy, scholarships sit above selective. Your tutor can’t navigate that.

📉

Trial tests produce scores without insight

You get a number. No breakdown by question type. No link to what was taught. No visibility into whether improvement is from real skill gain or just test familiarity. Data without intelligence is noise.

🧠

You are the CPU — and you’re making the wrong calls

You’re deciding what your child works on. But you’re basing it on what you see at home, not data. You think writing is the problem. You hire a writing tutor. Turns out the constraint was maths reasoning all along. Now you’ve spent 6 months and $3,000 on the wrong thing.

“We spent a year on English and Writing. The constraint was Maths.”

A family came to us in Year 6, three months before the selective test. Their child had been seeing a private English and writing tutor for 18 months — $180/week, every week. The parent decided this was the constraint because the child’s school writing was “messy” and their reading was “slow.”

When we ran a full diagnostic, the results told a different story:

English comprehension: 78th percentile — solid. Not exceptional, but not the constraint.
Writing: 72nd percentile — improved from the tutoring. Fine.
Mathematical reasoning: 41st percentilethis was the constraint.
Thinking Skills: 38th percentilenever addressed at all.

The parent had spent $14,000+ on English and writing tutoring. Those subjects were already above the threshold. The two subjects that would have made the biggest difference — maths reasoning and thinking skills — were never touched because nobody could see the full picture.

The English tutor did their job. But they could only see English. They couldn’t see that maths reasoning was the lever. That’s not a tutor problem. That’s a system problem. And it’s exactly what the All-Access Pass solves.

The parent-as-CPU problem: When you’re the one deciding what your child works on, you make decisions based on what you observe at home — not data. You see messy writing and hire a writing tutor. You don’t see the 41st percentile in maths reasoning because no one showed you the number. A Success Coach with access to every data point across every subject doesn’t guess. They diagnose.

When you add everything up, the Frankenstein approach costs 4× more.

SCHOLARLY ALL-ACCESS PASS (Y5 → Selective, 15 months)$4,997

The All-Access Pass doesn’t just save money. It eliminates coordination, removes switching costs, keeps every data point in one system, and gives you something no combination of specialists can: a single coach who sees every subject, every data point, every week, for the entire journey.

One dashboard. Every subject. 15 months of trends.

This is a real (anonymised) view from our LMS. When your Success Coach calls fortnightly, this is what they’re looking at. No English specialist, trial test centre, or workbook can give you this.

Coach insight: “S.I. scores 85%+ on core English and Maths but drops to 50% on Maths Catch-Up — the harder, multi-step problems. 53% of mistakes are conceptual, not careless. The constraint is multi-step reasoning when fractions and geometry combine. Sprint focus for next 4 weeks: fraction-geometry integration. This is the single lever that moves the score.”

Weakest: Feature article (3.1/5)

Coach insight: “Reading speed below target — needs 250+ WPM by test day. Feature article is the weakest writing mode. Recommendation: increase non-fiction Readly sessions 2→4/week. Assign additional feature article practice in Writely. No English specialist can see this. Only a system that tracks reading, writing, maths, and thinking skills together can identify that the writing weakness is connected to the reading gap in non-fiction texts.”

Four intelligent apps. Unlimited practice. One connected ecosystem.

We’re not just giving your child classes and a coach. The All-Access Pass includes a suite of intelligent learning apps, each designed to accelerate learning beyond the classroom. These apps are custom-tailored to every child’s individual needs, continuously adapting to their progress and ensuring they’re always challenged at the right level.

Adaptive engineReasoning focusReal-time difficultyUnlimited questions
With endless, personalised questions and reading materials, these apps provide your child with unlimited practice opportunities, especially for those who have already completed all available coursework. No more running out of material.
These apps are a bonus addition to the existing Scholarly infrastructure, giving students more ways to grow in Reading, Writing, Vocabulary, and Maths, all in one connected ecosystem. Every data point feeds into your Success Coach’s dashboard.

This is not a separate product. Readly, Writely, Vocably, and Mathly are included in every All-Access Pass for the full duration of your enrolment. Your Success Coach uses the data from these apps to identify constraints, adjust focus areas, and track progress across every dimension of your child’s preparation.

Your English tutor can’t navigate this. Your Success Coach can.

Private school scholarships sit above selective in the hierarchy. A full scholarship is worth $200,000–$300,000. But the application process is complex, opaque, and different for every school. Here’s what most families don’t know:

Every school tests differently

Some use ACER (standardised multiple-choice). Others use AAS. Some set their own questions entirely — open-answer, extended response, no multiple choice at all. Kings tests differently from SCEGGS, which tests differently from Barker. One preparation strategy doesn’t cover all of them.

Multiple interview rounds

Most scholarship processes include at least two interview rounds. The first is often a group activity (collaboration, leadership, creative thinking). The second is a 1:1 panel interview with senior staff. What they’re looking for: intellectual curiosity, depth of reading, articulate self-expression, and genuine passion — not rehearsed answers.

Portfolio & academic record

Some schools request a portfolio of achievements — academic, musical, sporting, community. Others weight the school report card heavily. Sydney Grammar looks for academic depth. SCEGGS looks for creative thinking and breadth. Knowing what each school values is the difference between a strong application and a wasted one.

Strategic answering — what they’re really asking

“Tell us about a book you’ve read recently” isn’t about the book. It’s testing whether your child reads deeply, can articulate why a text matters, and connects ideas beyond surface level. “What would you change about your school?” tests critical thinking and diplomacy. We prep for every question type.

The 2025 ACER exams were harder than ever

Reading passages at Year 9+ level. Maths requiring multi-variable integration. The families who performed best were building depth over 12+ months — not cramming workbooks. The difficulty is increasing every year.

Year 3 and Year 5 = prime scholarship season

Scholarship applications for Year 5 entry open during Year 4. For Year 7 entry, applications open during Year 6. That means the preparation must start in Year 3 and Year 5 respectively. By the time most parents learn about scholarships, it’s too late to prepare properly.

Your Success Coach maps the full pathway: Which schools to target (based on your child’s diagnostic data, location, and family priorities). Which exam format each school uses. The application timeline. Interview prep. Portfolio guidance. This is included in the All-Access Pass from day one.
