  1. When I pictured myself at a beach, I saw, heard, tasted, touched and smelt a lot of things found on a beach. Let me tell you all about what I had seen, heard, tasted, touched and smelt.

I saw billions of grains of sand. Not only that, I saw the waves splashing against the shore, many umbrellas, mats, flags, seagulls and other animals, lifeguards, people swimming, a few pets, rocks and also palm trees, just to name a few of the things I saw at the crowded beach.

I heard waves crashing at the shore, seagulls squealing, an ice cream robot that was making ice cream, people chatting, cars arriving and leaving, people working and learning and also people eating.

I did not taste much. All I tasted was saltwater and the fresh air.

I touched thin air, a pole, an insect and the soft sand.

I smelt ice cream, cream being made, hotdogs, animal fur, saltwater, seagull feathers, sunscreen and the fresh air.

This is what I would see, hear, taste, touch and smell. What would you see, hear, taste, touch and smell?

  2. The wave are hitting the sand. The water gently covered my leg. I use a big spoon to make a sandcastle. I running to the sun,,
“Hey that girl don’t run to sea” The sunshine straight to the mountain like many gold on the mountain.

  3. At The Beach
At the beach, l tasted a coconut with a crisp brown shell and sweet juice filled inside. My mouth gleamed in the sunlight with my teeth grinning with delight, while fierce seagulls flew frantically above my head. As l drank my coconut juice, my whole body felt indescribably refreshed and hydrated, the cold feeling made my muscles relax as the sun shone down. The meat of that coconut made my heart do a quiet tap dance as l swallowed my heart’s desire. With enjoyment after l finished my coconut, l searched for seashells.

I picked up a particular seashell and put it against my ear, it sounded like waves gushing towards me. I imagined that l was an imperial warrior of the land fighting the gushes of waves as l slashed through them with my sword. I heard the cry of the sea summoning more waves and calling reinforcements while l still was holding the shell at my ear, hearing sounds of my magnificent imagination.

Then, l lied down on the grass and watched all the other people playing happily at the beach enjoying their time, there were people swimming and paddling but others were on the sand building sandcastles. There were adults that lied on a picnic mat carefully watching their children while also having an excellent time at the dazzling beach.

But sadly, at the beach there were lots of litter on the sand so my excitement dropped down a bit but it was only until l cleaned it up and even managed to connect a stick onto a tin can and wrote on it “ this beach is litter free!’’ That day, when l was about to leave l thought about all the fantastic things at the beach and promised clearly to myself that l would definitely come back to visit this beach again and do all the things l hadn’t done yet, at the beach.

  4. The waves are hitting the sand. The waves gently covered my legs. I use a spade to make a sandcastle. I runs to the sun.
“Hey, that girl, don’t run over to the sea.” The sunshine shines straight to the mountains like many gold on the mountains. Then the waves are going back, I think it is the ground is moving back too so I followed the water, I suddenly wide awake and I go back to the beach. But actually my shoes and my trousers are all wet.
I tired, rested on a big rock. Sunshine touched my face. Bird said hi to me. Flower smiled to me. I went
home with a lovely face, because I was happy.
