Should buses be supplemented with seatbelts? This is a question that disturbs the minds of every parent, every student, and every driver. Parents send their kids to take the bus every day to go to school. People, as a whole, seem to be very trustful that buses are going to keep them safe. However, are we not doing everything possible to protect them?
Seatbelts have saved lives in cars. Seatbelts have saved lives in airplanes. So, why not on buses? Isn’t it true that everyone should be given the same protection regardless of where they are sitting? We need to care for our family members’ safety today. It is time for us to take the lead.
It is safer to have a situation if we put on seatbelts. People are also receiving a feeling of safety when they are given the freedom to add seatbelts. By adding seatbelts, we are showing that we care. No one should be worrying about their safety on a bus. No one should be asking if there was more that we could have done.
Make the bus safe for everyone. Let’s make sure that every trip ends with a smile. If saving lives was so simple, why would we still be waiting? Put your seatbelt on and bring the change about today.

I absolutely think that all buses should have seatbelts to protect passengers during crashes and rollovers, and reducing the amount of injuries. It is crucial for all buses to have seatbelts as they work just like cars.
Firstly, having seatbelts protect passengers from serious crashes and/or rollovers. For instance, if a bus driver wasn’t looking where he/she was driving to, everyone would be lying down in a heap, injured because of the crash. Seatbelts play a pivotal role in reducing the impact of crashes and rollovers. Studies confirm that bus seatbelts significantly reduce injuries and fatalities by preventing ejection and passenger collision during serious crashes. Therefore, I strongly believe that all buses should have seatbelts.
Secondly, they reduce the amount of injuries. If there were to be no seatbelts in buses and the bus swayed, everyone could collapse into a heap on the floor. Just like playing a crucial role in cars, seatbelts in buses will play the same important role. It is shown that seatbelts spread impact forces, keeping passengers inside the safer zone, preventing violent strikes with bus interiors, and allowing occupants to slow down with the vehicle. Hence, I firmly believe that all buses must have seatbelts.
In conclusion, all buses should have seatbelts. They reduce a significant amount of injuries, and protect occupants during crashes and rollovers. For this manner, I most certainly believe that all buses must have seatbelts.
