Prompt:
Choose a single idea (like “facing a fear”, “helping someone”, or “a surprise discovery”) and write about it in two different text types. For example, write a short story and then a speech, or a story and a persuasive email. Try to keep the same main idea, but adapt your tone, voice, and structure to match each format.

• Match your tone and voice to suit each audience (e.g. formal vs. informal)

• Use at least one writing technique (e.g. sensory detail, metaphor, persuasive language)
• Make sure each piece has a clear structure and purpose
