The Enchanted Forest
What is this? I had just stepped out of my house door and I fell into this contraption which pulled me down and I hit down at what felt like 10 000 kilometers per hour. I think I had been unconscious because the rope that had been pulling me down was no longer there. when I stood up the first thing I saw was a pond that was purple and blue and was surrounded by lush green grass. All I could smell was fresh air. This place felt like it was tranquil. I thought this was a forest but that it wasn’t one at the same time.
The pond was so huge that I felt like all the animals in a zoo could swim in it. When I stared into it I saw animals as big as an elephant swimming around at the average speed of fish. I heard some rustling so I looked at the bush that was rustling and put my hand in and felt some thing but there was nothing. All of this was driving me up the wall. After some time I thought of what all of this was so I pinched myself because I thought it was a dream but it wasn’t. Now I was really scared but I was also really anxious at the same time.
I wanted to go for a walk just to see how this forest type place was. As I walked around the trees moved away giving me way. This was just crazy! These trees were supernatural! Also these trees were supernatural because they actually whispered or else trees usually just rustle and people say that they are whispering. Alongside the trees the flowers were dancing as if they were in a disco party. Every thing here was lively.
As I explored more into the forest I tripped over a twig and stumbled upon a glen. This was different to the rest of this somewhat enchanting place. I walked through the glen and as I was walking I saw some thing glowing out of the corner of my eye. I looked at it and went closer to it. It was a bioluminescent mushroom. I touched it and I felt unconscious. When I woke up I had forgoten all about the mushroom and why I had fallen unconscious but luckily there was a rock that told me all about the mushroom and that it was the reason I fell unconscious.
As I continued I saw a door which said “This is your way home.” I didn’t get it because I had fallen in on the other side of this place and how was this my exit? So I opened the door and I saw my house. I wasn’t sure if I should stay here or not because this was such a nice place that every thing was enchanted but then I also had to go home. I placed this as a cherished memory gem in my memory chest and had one last glance around and went back home through the door.

Dear diary,
I have just returned from my enchanting trip to the Enchanted forest. It was a wonderful time though some things annoyed so much, that it drove me up the wall! Here is what happened. I had heard rumours about the enchanted forest so I thought, why don’t I go see it for myself? so I went to the local village to get the map. “ you’ll get hard time trying to find it,” the shopkeeper exclaimed, “ everyone is trying to find it so they will be famous but no-one has seen it!” I thanked the shopkeeper for his “useful” information and set off.I followed the map until the very very end of the trail but the rest was all old and faded. No! I will not give up, I told myself. I walked around for a while until.Rustle, rustle, there was something coming. My ears pricked up, trying to hear any sounds. Nothing, With the blink of my eye a tiger came pouncing at me. I backed up and tripped over a stone . Thump, thump. A sinkhole formed underneath me, I fell with it. The last thing I saw was the tiger looking terrified, then it was all dirt.
After what seemed like one million years ( times one hundred) I hit the ground. I surveyed my new surroundings and noticed a broken sign. It read, _me _o the En_ha_ted F_rest. That must of read welcome to the Enchanted Forest! I have found it! I sat down and took in my environments. I could hear some birds chirping happily in the distance, the grass was so fluffy it was as though I was sitting on cotton! I took a deep breath, my nose immediately became so overwhelmed. There was so many flowers and plant with different smells, they all smelt as sweet as sugar. I stood u again, wanting to explore the forest.Suddenly, it hit me like lightning, I realised that there was no way out of here! Out of the corner of my eye, I saw a piece of paper falling from the sky and landed in front of my feet. I picked it up, and saw it was blank. The paper started to write by itself as if there was an invisible hand writing on it. I read it. Dear reader, well done, you have found the rare Enchanted forest. I know you’re wondering, how do I get out of here, then don’t fret, I will help you. First, go to the Venus fly trap, It will help you from there.
I wandered around the forest trying to find this, Venus fly trap. Snap! That sound came from behind me! I turned around and came face to face with hundreds of pointy teeth. “ What are you doing here human?” It hissed.I jumped about a metre into the air, I didn’t think the Venus fly trap could talk! Gathering myself, I answered, “ I’m trying to find the way out of this forest “ I replied. “ Oh! All you have to do is bounce on that mushroom.” It used its head to point to the mushroom. “ Bounce?! I’m too old for that child games!” I exclaimed. It shook its head and replied, “ than there is no way out.” In the end I agreed and hopped onto the mushroom. “ One last thing before you go,” the Venus fly trap said. “Yes?”. “ Could you visit me? I do feel lonely sometimes.” “Sure!” I replied. I bounced once and immediately shot up like a bullet. I was going to crach into the thick layers of leaves! In a flash, a portal appeared and I shot through it. And landed n front of the stone that I had tripped over from before. Instead of running straight to the news agent. I walked home merrily. The forest would be my little secret. Or so I thought.
Yours sincerely
Olivia
I hope this is not too much.🙄Thank you!📝

Today has been the most extraordinary day of my life one that I shall cherish for as long as I live. The journey I embarked upon in the Enchanted Forest was nothing more than magical filled with wonders and mythical creatures that I had only ever read about in fairytales. As the sun rose, casting its golden light through the dense canopy, I set foot on the forest path. The air was crisp and filled with the sweet scent of blooming flowers, mingling with the earthy aroma of the forest floor. Birds of every colour imaginable sang harmoniously, creating a symphony that seemed to welcome me into their world. My first encounter was with a family of small fluttering creatures also known as fairies. These delicate beings glowed with an light their wings shimmering like liquid silver. They flew around me whispering secrets of the forest in a language I could almost understand. One particularly brave fairy landed on my shoulder guiding me deeper into the woods. Venturing further, I stumbled upon a grove of ancient, towering trees. Their bark was covered in intricate carvings, telling the stories of the forest’s past. Among the trees, I encountered a group of woodland elves. They were slender and graceful, their eyes twinkling with wisdom. The elves welcomed me with open arms, offering me a feast of fruits and berries. As we shared stories and laughter, I learned about their deep connection with the land and their role as protectors of the forest. The highlight of my journey was meeting the Forest Guardian, a colossal tree ent that watched over the Enchanted Forest. Its bark was gnarled and ancient, its branches spreading wide like protective arms. The Forest Guardian spoke in a deep, resonant voice, sharing tales of the forest’s magic and the balance that must be maintained. It bestowed upon me a small, glowing acorn, a symbol of the forest’s trust and a reminder of my responsibility to protect it. As the day drew to a close, I found myself back at the edge of the forest, the sun setting in a blaze of orange and pink. I turned to take one last look at the Enchanted Forest, my heart swelling with gratitude for the incredible experiences I had. The forest had left an indelible mark on my soul, a reminder of the magic that exists in the world and the importance of preserving it.
