  1. What kind of world are we leaving behind as each day passes? The planet that nurtures us is struggling under the weight of our actions, and the signs are everywhere. Climate change isn’t a distant threat—it’s here, reshaping the world around us with alarming speed. Every moment counts, and the time to act is now.
The skies we once gazed at were clearer, the oceans were deeper shades of blue, and the forests buzzed with life. But now, those vibrant scenes feel like echoes of a fading past. Forests are falling, animal homes are disappearing, and our planet is shifting beneath our feet. These changes aren’t far away—they’re happening here, affecting everything we care about.
Can you picture glaciers shrinking to puddles, their mighty presence replaced by rising waters that consume entire coastlines? Coral reefs, once thriving ecosystems, now stand like skeletal reminders of what we’ve lost. Wildfires roar across the land, leaving devastation in their wake. The storms and droughts aren’t nature’s fury; they are the consequences of neglect. The reality we’re facing isn’t fiction—it’s the result of choices made without consideration for tomorrow.
Some people claim it’s too late to change. But giving up on our planet isn’t an option. Every effort, no matter how small, carries the power to spark meaningful change. We can still shape our future—one where loss and suffering don’t dominate the narrative. It’s not too late to turn things around, but we have to begin now.
Every step forward matters. Recycle, save energy, plant trees, and raise your voice to inspire action in your community. Each choice you make can ripple outward, touching lives and sparking hope. Together, we can rewrite the story of our planet. The fight isn’t just for the environment—it’s for ourselves, our future, and our shared home. What will you do to make the difference?

  2. Climate change
Envision one of your favourite gardens, with all its greenery discoloured, the grass feeling as if they are blades slightly pressing into your feet with each passing moment, with the trees which once used to be a big lush of leaves now just a pile of dead, insignificant branches, the sky as fogged as evaporated water can be. The calm and affluent smell replaced with a noxious odour. This isn’t just any daily nightmare, but it’s where Earths future is headed if humans keep up the bad deeds they are doing by air polluting.
If you look deeper into air pollution or climate change you will find it has became a sizeable problem, just in the gist of 2024 37.5 billion tonnes of CO2 were released from fossil fuels with and outstanding 41.6 billion tonnes more released from from households. Climate change effects more than you know, its not just bad for animals and humans but it damages polar ice caps causing them to melt, another important thing is that climate change affects the ozone layer, there is already a huge hole in Australia’s ozone layer, why make it worse?
I’m sure no one here wants earth to become a fiery ball of detrimental greenhouse gasses where no sign of life exists? Well let’s start early, and teach younger generations to become a better version of over selves. Every type of pollution takes part in climate change, we humans don’t know the real power of Mother Nature so it’s better not to underestimate it.
If we all start making progress, start picking up rubbish we see, start participating in town clean ups, start switching to electric cars and using less smoke we may stand a chance in reverting all the mistakes we’ve committed over the years.
Just imagine a world where climate change is extinct, and the sun smiles down beautifully on the grass with the birds chirping, trees singing the air smelling as clean as ever.
On the other hand, picking up rubbish may pose a risk to ourselves as we don’t know what diseases or viruses may be on it, there may even be a chance another pandemic may start. Burning fossil fuels or releasing gasses from house holds may be harmful to all species on earth, but it plays a vital role in everyday life, anyways some countries have even banned coal.
Finally, I conclude that climate change is something the humankind can prevent if we put effort, start early before it’s too late.

  3. Our Environment
As i walk into the bush I immediately i see nothing but dirt cut down tree and fire. This is Already happening every where. The rainforests of South American to the Sivans of Africa is a problem that every country faces even Australia. Climate Change. Every place from the most densest cities to the smallest village can make pollution the environment that are close to them. It the near future the only thing that gies away that earth was ever habitable is the ruins of buildings and ships. Even if some people survive they’ll still have to be able to access food.

It is getting worse and harder to control with the increasing population of people and their beliefs of the world and the problem is getting bigger by the minute, the future that is predicted is coming sooner the we think i know that i can’t save the environment immediately but we can try. We can make the future for our children and grandchildren better we can change the world that we live in just by changing a few things that we do.

We can change how we travel instead of using cars you can use bicycle to Tavel small distances or even use electric vehicles. Instead of paying for electricity you can buy solar panels for electricity. Rather that throwing things away you can recycle them in to a new thing like and plastic bottles and containers and turn it into a stylish bag or turn a mattress into a cloth.

The problem is that not many people listen to this they just want money. I don’t think that they listen i think that they have to listen all the things we do now can change the future to good or bad but I want to change your opinion to change the future for the greatest.

Close your eyes. Envision a world where heat is endless, temperatures skyrocketing as deserts conquer Earth, lethargy seizing your body as an incessant grogginess infects your being due to humid atmospheres. Envision a world where the constant whirr of air filters replaces the chirping of birds as you feel the firm concrete beneath your feet that was once the squelch of wet grass. Open your eyes. This scenario we imagine is not a mere concept, but a reality that is yet to come. Every choice you make impacts the chance of this dystopian future. Today, our earth may become a planet where life ceases to exist as we stand on the threshold of disaster. Students and teachers, how can you be okay knowing that our earth will be purged with an eternal heat that roams in every corner? How can you be okay knowing that your only lifelines will become artificial air and air conditioning? Species are dying daily, eradication of everyday animals a possibility that isn’t to be brushed off. As the land becomes hotter, the fruits and vegetables we love will also die. We must act, the future isn’t far from the present.

Our natural world is being affected day by day. As someone who has always enjoyed the way blades of grass brush against my feet, it makes my heart throb with anguish knowing that this will be taken away from me, from us. The kookaburras that sing in the morning as you eat your breakfast? They, too, will become endangered as our land becomes drier. The Australia we know, the green areas that accompany the deserts, will all be overridden and will dry out. “What about the Great Barrier Reef?” Studies from the Climate Council have already recorded bleaching events of the reef in 2016 and 2017 and found that the same bleaching events were 175 times more likely to happen again. The Great Barrier Reef as we know it may cease to exist, along with the fauna that surrounds it as they will die a slow yet agonising death. To understand how drastic this problem is, take Australia’s 2020 bushfires as an example. Habitats of billions of animals were burnt to the ground, their extinction inexorable. The eradication of these species further withers our natural world as even the tiniest of things, such as pollination and natural compost make an impact. However, with the rate of how things are going, the future environmental imbalance is palpable. Our nature is being affected, and you cannot deny it.

The damages to the natural world will also impact our agriculture. The fruits and vegetables you and I love may not even exist due to the destruction of climates. Fruits that grow in tropical climates, such as mangoes or even bananas won’t exist as deserts replace everything. Imagine the sweet and fleshy taste of mangoes, now imagine never being able to experience that again. Will you really be okay knowing that the joy of eating sweet fruits will soon become something dreamed of? We must make a change. Hydroponics will dominate our present agriculture, a limited selection of nutrition being inevitable. The agriculture of fruits and vegetables is something that we should hold dear to our hearts, and we should act to keep it as it is.

Some people claim that the severe consequences of climate change are too far away for us to worry about. While this may be somewhat true, we cannot be self-centred. What about the generations to come? Our children, our grandchildren, they will all be affected by the horrors of climate change. This is not an issue to brush off as the ones we care about will be swept up in what we left behind. It is evident that we must make a change since the ones we love will also be affected.

As our environment gets destroyed and our agriculture is ruined, we, too, will suffer. This drastic future is near, and we must make a change before we are beyond this point of no return. Ladies and gentlemen, I implore you to join me in action. Will you sit and let our earth be destroyed? Or will you act and make a difference? Together, we can all make a change.
