  1. Save Our beaches Now! If we don’t start protecting our Great barrier Reef now, the magnificent view of the ocean will be erased from existence! Our reef provides tourists with a place to explore in the holidays while keeping our oceans clean and beautiful. Not only does it beautify our world, but it nurses many species of fish that are yet to be discovered.

Have you ever been on holiday and explored a gorgeous ocean floor near a beach? These places are extremely fragile due to climate change and pollution. One time I traveled to a beach with my friends and family and the water was amazing. The next time I went there it was disgusting. Do we really want these shining waters to turn into murky green water filled with dead fish bodies? Do we really want to ruin our fine beaches which were once filled with joy?

Have you ever wondered how many different types of marine life call the Great Barrier reef home? Thousands maybe millions rely on the reef for shelter from predators like sharks and stingrays. If all the coral become bleached and don’t recover, then many endangered species of marine animals will die out causing a part of the food chain to collapse. If we don’t start acting now, us humans will have nothing to eat in the future.

In conclusion, we are blessed with a place as beautiful as heaven so we must cherish it by protecting it with all our power. We can reduce pollution by recycling more. If everyone does their little bit, then our reef will look much more lively and colourful than before.
