Dear Hills Council,
I just wanted to address the fact that destroying the local library for a shopping centre is not the best idea. Now you are wondering why I say that it’s a bad idea. Well a lot of people get their entertainment from the library, especially families that can’t afford to get a screen for themselves. Students also use the library for getting study material and to grow their knowledge. Even some adults come there to work at a quiet place. The library isn’t just all about books, it’s much more than that.
Now if you’re going to swap the library with something else it must be a reasonable thing but I can tell you one thing and a shopping centre is not the most reasonable thing to swap it with. The library has studying material which can drastically boost their performance in school and in life skills that are required of them. You might say “Samyar, students aren’t a lot of people, they’re just a small number of people.” Well students may not be a lot of people right now but they are 100% of our future and they need to learn things. Where do they learn things? At the library. If students aren’t a good enough reason then think about all those families that don’t have a lot of money. They’ll be devastated the next day when they come to the library and see that their kids favourite book isn’t there. Well then the kid will be unentertained and parents hate when their kids are unhappy because they will have a fear of losing their kids because the kids don’t think that the parents like them anymore. Would you want parents to lose sleep every night thinking about losing their kids because they think that their parents are too boring?
If you don’t think that those parents are a good enough reason we have those adults that come to the library to work there. Adults that go to the library to work want to have a silent place so that they can focus. What better place to go than the library. If you destroy the library there then a lot of adults have to go to a different library since the one that they work at is destroyed. Some adults won’t go to a library since it’s too far and if those adults can’t focus then they won’t pay attention to the task that their boss has given then that adult might end up losing their jobs. Do you want enraged adults to come to the library the next day and it is destroyed? They will be apprehensive and furious. Do you want to be accountable for the losses of jobs of many adults in the community?
In the library industry it creates jobs. People work there and earn money. Well then you might ask “Samyar, won’t there be more jobs if you create a shopping centre because there are more industries?” Not necessarily. There are kids that go to the library for study material and as I have mentioned, they are the future and they will be the ones that look for jobs. Now how is the library helping exactly? Well the library gives students the resources that they need for the future. So the library is actually creating jobs for students in the future.
Please take the community’s problems into account. And we will talk with you later to discuss what we can do.
Yours Sincerely,
Community of Rouse Hill. (Writer Samyar Attarian)

Dear student council,
I am writing to you to tell you why the demolition of our sacred library in order to make a mere shopping spree is a medicocre idea and will do you only loss and bankruptcy instead of gain. You may be thinking why you should listen to advice from a child but trust me it will come in handy in the future. Many people come to this library to learn and study for their upcoming exams and trust me they won’t be happy to find out their only chance to get into their dream highschool/university is demolished. People also come to the library to getaway from their situations at home and have a peaceful break at the library. This library isn’t just a huge collection of books it stands as a hub of knowledge and peace and is the heart of our town.
For many families, especially for families with limited financial resources, the library is a source of entertainment that doesn’t reply on expensive technology like personal screens. Its also crittically crucial for students offering students to expand knowledge and accel in acadimaclly. Beyond students and families the library serves adults a quiet place to concentrate on work. Replacing the library would take a lot of thought and the idea of replacing it with a shopping spree isn’t really smart.
Every person needs a safe place to go for help or relax or just to have fun overall and our library is an example of such, so no wonder that such an establishment is an ireplaceable asset to students and citizens alike. Public libraries offer what most people do not have access to, offering chances for equality.
In addition, the library is a community bond center that bridges generations with their shared stories, workshops, and lectures. We preserve our community’s spirit and identity by saving the library. What will remain of what our town stands for if we trade its heart for commercial gain?
I ask that you overrule this decision and protect our sanctuary of knowledge. Will you become the savior who defended this light of knowledge, or will you be among the executioners who signed a death warrant for it?
I hope that you will recognize the magnitude of what is at risk and take action to stop this decision and not disrupt our towns peace.
Sincerely Saifan

TOPIC SENTENCE:
I demand the library shall not be demolished after all its the only visceral place in the entire suburb.
INTRO:
The library is the most prodigious residence as it holds many popular events, it’s a place where happiness gathers, and now its going to be demolished! Why would anyone do such an insolent thing? Removing the local library is like destroying an innocent persons house.
PARAGRAPH 1:
The library is an old heritage building full of knowledge and liveliness, what advantage will be earned after destroying the building? The library teaches many good values while if the library gets demolished more people will go to shopping centre where bad habits and values can be picked up, they could be greed, temporary happiness and people might even become spend thrifts or materialistic.
PARAGRAPH 2:
As I said before, the library holds many events like community gatherings, chess competitions, and children’s poem reading. If the library gets destroyed they’d be nothing like that. Once the building is destroyed, the air would be humid of all the melancholy feelings, the suburb would be dread with no sign of hope as the only eye catching place would be destroyed. As the air gets hotter and hotter no one would care as they have already beared a significant loss.
PARAGRAPH 3:
Destroying the library also means you’re going to destroy all the memories made within it and this can affect many people mentally, and why would anyone want the worst of someone else? If the library gets demolished many people wouldn’t have accessibility over books especially people who can’t afford them and also those who aren’t that tech savvy rely on books.
CONCLUSION:
Finally, I conclude that the library shouldn’t ever be demolished as its an important heritage to this suburb.
