  1. Mary had just come from her own private music class and got welcomed by a bunch of staring faces. “How about you perform to us. “said Mr. Magam

Mary’s hand trembles as she grabbed her saxophone to perform in front of the whole class. As her classmates cheered for her usual shyness went into thin air. As she played, she noticed that she could hear violin notes, then flute notes after a while she could hear a whole orchestra. The whole class looked stunned at Mary, they heard it too.

When Mary was checking that if her saxophone wasn’t working, she heard a squeaky voice “Help I was in the middle of conducting a beautiful orchestra and you ruined it with the too loud playing!” it said with a grumpy voice. “But you ruined my act!” replied Mary. The teacher who’d snapped out of his statue mode said, “what about you can get out of there with your band and perform somewhere else?”

  2. Early one morning, I was so excited as I was looking forward to busking at Sydney Central train station, playing a challenging song called “Symphony No.5” by Ludwig van Beethoven, in front of all the commuters. As the train was whooshing through the coast to Sydney, I realised that I left my violin chin rest at home in Wollongong! Disappointed, I had to hop off the train at the next station and caught another train back home. This had caused a huge delay to my original plan!

After wasting so much time, I finally arrived in Sydney in the middle of the day and was so eager, but nervous, to perform. With my eyes closed, I started playing as though I was in my living room at home. The sound of footsteps began to fade away and as I slowly peeked through my eyes, I noticed everyone staring at me, like bees attracted to honey!

At the end of the song, everyone present, including the station captain, cheered and clapped! More shockingly, I saw a lot of fifty-dollar notes in my violin case. That was probably the most money I would ever earn in three and a half minutes!

  3. My heart raced as I set up my violin, ready to show the world I can play. Curious faces watched me as I began to play. As I was playing, Mother Nature did a peace offering right in front of my nose. My beautiful violin sprang to life, playing melodies that charmed the people around me. The tranquil, serene lake sprang to action, inviting its best players for my performance. A hushed chorus of gasps filled the air as the waves pitter-pattered, the dolphins clicking, and the seashells splashing against the seashore. Suddenly, I felt confident. I felt like I was ready to take on all of Cipher City. People were tap dancing to the music that was composed right in front of their eyes. Dogs and cats were joining in, creating a luxurious touch to the masterpiece. My school bullies bowed low to me, feeling frustrated that me, a nine-year-old person, was better at music than them. My confidence grew as high as the Burj Khalifa. I knew my dead dad is so proud of me, as he once was a musician and played violin, so I lived up the family’s name. Me, Marvelo Hucchington, is the next big hit at Cipher City!

  4. QVB bustled with life and chatter as I anxiously looked around at everyone who was watching. The sun had just begun to paint the horizon with its first blazes of orange, and already there were countless people in the building. Tall stained-glass windows filtered the light into soft hues, casting colourful reflections across the marble tiles. My crushing weight of self-doubt threatened to overwhelm my delicate confidence, reluctant to press a note on the grand piano.

A few weeks ago, my parents had become unemployed, so today was my first time street performing – determined to help my parents. After inhaling the warm scent of polished wood, I began to play. The moment my fingers touched the piano, a breathtaking melody resonated through the building. My palms were still sweaty, a manifestation of my inadequacy, but with each note I played, my confidence slowly began to grow. Soon before I finished, I noticed that my ragged old hat was filled with an unbelievable amount of money, creating a smile on my face.

After finishing my performance, I was still incapable of understanding how I was able to play such a complex piece. As I stared at all the money in my hat, it made me eager to go home and give my parents everything that I had made. My unquenchable desire to help my parents had finally become a reality.

  5. On a clear day in Longyearbyen when it was in the month of June,I decided to play my violin downtown for about 5 to 6 hours since it does not sunset due to the place near the north pole. At first when I set up, no one was particularly intrested but when a tennager started staring at me, many people started to get some intrest while I got in my position, ready to play. I was trembling with fear and I felt like I was about to drop the violin. The first few notes came out and after a minute I was gracefully playing and looking up at the sky rather than the crowd of people. Suddenly a spine-chilling thought came bouncing into my brain ; I tried to resist and not think of it but I couldn’t and just dropped the violin. Everyone gasped andwalked away immeadiately. Appalled, I decided to pack up.
