NSW Private Schools: List of Top Boys Schools

The appeal of private education is on the rise globally, and Australia is no exception. Data from the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) reveals that the percentage of Australian students enrolled in independent schools increased from 13.3% in 2017 to 15.1% in 2022.

Moreover, the ABS data shows a record high of 187,913 enrollments in private schools, indicating a robust 3.3% growth rate. This upward trend mirrors a worldwide shift towards private education, as evidenced by the growing number of English-medium international schools. The total number of such schools worldwide reached 9,605 in 2022, marking a 6.3% increase year-over-year.

  1. What is the criteria for determining these top schools? Seems to be based on parent feedback which may be biased based on sample selection.
