The Zoom Holiday Booster is the foundation. The Scholarly platform session is the acceleration. On its own each one helps. Together, every method taught in class is stretched and tested the same day while it is still fresh.
Zoom Holiday Booster
Live on Zoom with 5 to 10 students, taught by the senior tutors who run the Year 5 Selective programme during term. The method is taught and worked through in a small group, with feedback on the spot.

Scholarly platform session, same subject
A second live session every day inside the Scholarly learning platform, in the subject stream that matches the Booster. The method from class is pushed harder, at test pace, with progress tracked for the success coach.

One subject. Ten days. Two sessions a day.
Over a normal term the stuck subject gets one class a week and shares that week with two other subjects, school and sport. The Super Booster gives it two sessions a day on consecutive days, with nothing else competing.

The work is happening. The mark is not moving.
We call it a stubborn subject. Two subjects hold up or improve, and the third sits in the same place week after week, even though your child attends and does the homework. During term, focus is spread across eight subjects at school and three at Scholarly. The stuck one gets whatever is left.

Usually two or three question types carry the whole gap. Those question types need a method, and a weekly class cannot repeat it enough for it to stick.

Homework stretches from twenty minutes to over an hour, because effort goes into an approach that has never been fixed. More time on the same approach stops paying.

Answers get faster and more random in the second half of every paper. A concentrated fortnight reverses this fastest, because your child finally sees the mark move.
Year 5, Thinking Skills. Attended 34 of 38 live classes and submitted every homework quiz. Trial test average sat at 40% against a class average of 57%, and Week 9 was in the same place as Week 1. Homework time rose from 20 minutes to over an hour while the mark stayed flat.
In the July holidays she did a ten day Thinking Skills booster, one skill a day with practice the same afternoon. Her first three daily scores were 90%, 93% and 85%. Same student, same subject. The only thing that changed was concentration.

Places in our holiday Zoom small-group classes are strictly limited.
Once a student is enrolled and payment is received, the place is reserved and no longer available to other families. To ensure fair access and stable class planning, please confirm your child's availability before enrolling.
No refunds will be issued for change of mind, scheduling conflicts, or failure to attend. Enrolments cannot be transferred or deferred.
Refunds will be provided where required under the Australian Consumer Law, for example, if the course is cancelled by the centre.
Questions parents ask
How is this different from the Zoom Holiday Booster?+
The Booster gives your child one live class a day in the subject. The Super Booster adds a second live session on the Scholarly platform for the same subject every day, so the method taught in class is pushed harder the same day. If the subject has been stuck all year, that second layer is the difference.
Is it too much for the holidays?+
It is two sessions a day in one subject, and the rest of the day is free. It is intense on purpose, with nothing else to juggle, which is why it works on a stubborn subject.
Do the two layers cover the same material?+
No. The Zoom class teaches the method and works it live in a small group. The platform session drills the same skill with different questions, harder and at test pace.
Can my child do the Super Booster in two subjects?+
Maths pairs with English or Writing with no overlap. Thinking Skills is harder to pair: its Zoom class at 11:00 AM clashes with the English and Writing learning platform session, and it shares the same 2:00 PM learning platform session as Maths. Message us on WhatsApp and we will check the timetable for you.
Are sessions recorded?+
Zoom Holiday classes are live only and there are no recordings. The platform sessions are recorded and available inside the Scholarly learning platform for the rest of the holidays.
What does my child need?+
A device with Zoom and a working camera and microphone, a login to the Scholarly learning platform, a quiet space, and pen and paper. All materials are provided.
Who teaches the class?+
Senior Scholarly tutors who teach the Year 5 Selective programme during term.
Is this the right level for my child?+
The Super Booster is for Year 5 students preparing for the 2027 Selective test. If you have a Stubborn Subject Report from your success coach, the subject in it is the one to pick. If you are unsure, message us on WhatsApp and we will look at your child's Term 3 results with you.
