Materials rewritten every year to match the current exam
Our materials follow the format and difficulty of the current OC, Selective, HAST and EduTest exams. We rewrite them each year as the exams change.
A success coach who reports to you every week
Every student has a success coach who reads their weekly Trial Test results and sends you a progress note: what they practised, where they’re improving, and what to work on at home.

Questions parents ask
Yes. No card, no deposit, and nothing is enrolled automatically. Your child joins the class, and afterwards our team will call to ask how it went. If it wasn’t right, that’s the end of it.
You’ll see the pace, the type of questions, and how the tutor explains a wrong answer. You won’t see the homework, Trial Tests or success coaching, so after the class our team can take you through what a full term includes. If it’s not right for your child, that’s fine.
Every Scholarly student has one. Your success coach reads your child’s weekly Trial Test results and homework, sends you a weekly progress note, and writes a progress report each term. If a topic keeps slipping, they can put together a weekly plan, topic notes or a one page cheat sheet for your child. Children who need more support get more.
No. Each child gets one free trial class. When you book, our team reserves a place in a live class, sets up your child’s login and sends through the details, and briefs the tutor to expect them. Free trial places are limited, and a spot that goes unused is one another family could have taken. If something comes up, let us know before the class starts. Once a trial has been booked and set up, we’re unable to offer a second one, so please don’t submit another free trial request for the same child.
Your child’s place in the class you picked is booked straight away. Before the class you’ll receive the login details for the Scholarly learning platform by email and WhatsApp. A team member will also call or WhatsApp you to say hello and answer any questions. Your child joins one of our normal weekly classes alongside current students.
For Year 2 to Year 6 we offer English, Writing, Thinking Skills, and Maths, and for Year 5 we also offer NSW Scholarship and Victorian Scholarship (ACER, EduTest and AAS) exam preparation. For Year 7 to Year 10 we offer English, Maths and Science, and for Year 7 and 8 we also offer Victorian Selective Entry exam preparation. Pick the one your child needs most. If you’re not sure, tap “None of these times work, please call me” and we’ll guide you.
We have students who started in Year 2 and students who started three months before the exam. The trial class gives us a look at where your child is, and we’ll tell you which course makes sense, or if it’s too early.
The trial is a live online class. Your child can see and hear the tutor, ask questions, and have their work marked the same way as every other student in the class.
