  1. Dear principal,
Have you ever thought how much children work, don’t you think that they should have a longer brake? Well if children have an extra ten precious more minutes they can feel fresh air, make friends and play together.Children have will time to finish off their games ,stretch and keep the blood pumping. When children come to class they are refreshed and ready to learn. Imagine how much better the school would be if it had extra ten wonderful minutes. Its not just good for the children its better for the teachers ,so they have more time to get ready for setting up children’s work, correct papers, and they also get a longer brake with no kids around! When we have those extra 10 minutes we can exercise and kids who don’t finish there food fast enough they have more time for a little stretch. To help the blood flow the children have more time to play and gain a healthier body.Imagine the smile on parents faces when they see a healthy ,smart child! When a child steps in there class room eager to learn they have a calmer temper and start there work right away! Just ten more minutes make a huge step for children to be more knowledgeable. Children can sit calm and get more done in a shorter time. When I have extra 10 minutes I understand more of my work and finish my work easily. These precious 10 minutes give everybody one step closer to a great life.Seeing children like me having a great future and a happy life means the world to every student ,so those extra ten minutes gives every student an opportunity to thrive and grow strong.

    Kind regards from Aanya

  2. Dear Principal

I am writing because I would like to suggest making recess 10 minutes longer this is a great idea and would have many positive effects on students.

Firstly, longer recess would give students more time to relax and recharge likely improving our concentration and helping us do better in our schoolwork. Secondly, more recess time would provide additional opportunities for physical activity. Exercise is important for our health and a longer recess would allow us to play games, and stay active. Lastly, extra recess time could help reduce stress. When we come back to class, we will likely feel more relaxed and focused, which means a better learning experience.

I believe that making recess 10 minutes longer would benefit everyone at our school. I hope you will consider this idea and see the positive impact it could have on our school for your time and consideration

    Sincerely,
    Ethan La

  3. Dear principal,

I strongly believe that extending recess by 10 minutes would make our school a happier, healthier, and more productive place. Every day, our playground bursts with energy as students laugh, run, and build
friendships, but the bell always rings too soon, cutting our joy short like a cloud covering the sun.

This extra time would allow us to finish our games, feel the fresh air on our faces, and strengthen our bonds with classmates. Moving our bodies and enjoying the outdoors must be a priority because it keeps us focused and energised, like a flower blooming after a refreshing rain.

I firmly support this change because it is essential for better learning. After longer breaks, our minds would return sharper, calmer, and ready to absorb knowledge. These extra minutes should not be seen as just playtime but as an investment in our well-being and success.

Please make this powerful change for us. Together, we will use every precious second to grow, learn, and shine as the best students we can be.

    Yours Sincerely,
    R9

  4. Dear principle
Have you thought of making recess longer by 11 minutes? If we had more time to finally finish our games and then we can focus better on school work after recess. My happiness runs away as I hear the bell ring. I also notice other kids get sad when they hear the bell. I strongly feel that if we have more time, we can also make new friends and that will make us happier. Of course, kids will also have more time to eat healthy food that they bring from home.

You must be thinking why did I ask for exactly 11 minutes. Well, let me break it down for you. 4 minutes to finish food, 5 minutes to finish games and 2 minutes to talk to someone new.

Isn’t this a great idea? Don’t you agree?
