  1. We Need A Environmental Club
Let me ask you something, do you really think that it is ok to let the playground get littered with trash everyday? Do you think that it is ok for the school and environment?! Of course not! Yet you still don’t act, even after you gave a speech, addressing the issue? We need to act now as it is essential for our unique animals and wildlife, our own health and for the economy impact for the world.
We are home to precious and unique wildlife that are already critically endagered and we are threatening them even more. These species are diverse and do not exist anywhere else. If we wipe them out, it is likely that they will never be seen again. How sad would that be! Imagine yourself getting stuck in dirty bottles and sharp nets, how would you feel. Statistics show that thousands of land animals die, hundreds of thousands of marine mammals die, millions of bird species die, millions of marine animals die each year because of pollution and human made debris. We need to devote ourselves to save the wildlife, not just here in Australia, but also around the world.
Futhermore, the rubbish we make can have negative affects for ourselves. People have found micro-plastics(tiny plastics) in the fish, they eat, some have found bigger plastics that give a big chance of choking. Researchers have found micro-plastics in 97% of human lungs that were tested. This can cause a number of discomforts. If we don’t stop that now than the world might all be diagnosed with this problem and they might live shorter than people without the micro-plastics.
Moreover, litter can cause economic problems. There is so much litter that governments have to hire people to help them clean up, or else they would have to walk around on trash, literally. This will cost a lot of money, even up to 11 billion dollars in the US alone. Imagine how much money will be spent to do that worldwide. Also when people litter in tourist attractions, nobody wants a floating Diet Coke in the background. This means the country won’t recieve enough money and stop being able to fund hotels and restaurants. Everybody has to work hard to stop littering to sustain a good and healthy economy.
As you can see, litter is a giant problem and we should start a environmental club. Litter negatively affects animals, humans and the economy. Starting a environmental club will be a step to a better fututre!

  2. Dear Principal,
Have you ever wondered what our school would look like if everyone cared for the environment? Right now, we see rubbish in the playground, wasted paper in classrooms, and lights left on in empty rooms. That is why I strongly believe we need an Environment Club at our school. Together, we can learn how to care for our planet, clean up our school, and speak up for the Earth. If we do not act now, who will?
Having an environmental club will teach students about the real world and what is wrong with it. Even if only 30 to 50 students join, they could still help the world and make a big difference. However, you might be thinking “won’t that be a hassle for the teachers?” That is a fair concern but, what if the teachers are determined to help the future generations like us? With teamwork and passion, we can build a better school and a better world. That is why I truly believe that we need an environmental club.
Additionally, it can help improve our school’s environment. The playground is messy and when you look at the playground, you almost want to sigh. The environmental club not only focuses on learning they also clean the environment to make a happy place for everyone including you. Without them our playground would start to look like a dump. Therefore, to improve our school’s cleanliness and hygiene, we need to have an environment club.
Moreover, as you said in your speech yesterday about every child having a voice even though they might be different, I strongly believe that having an environmental club would give any kid a voice. This is because when a student really cares about the environment, they wish they could help the environment in any way. This can also give teachers a voice right now due to a lack of having a voice when they were younger.
In conclusion, I kindly ask: can we have an environmental club in our school? It would let students learn about the environment more, help the environment and give teachers or students a voice. This would make our school a better place for everyone.

    Yours sincerely,
    Ho Yin

  3. Dear principal, we should definitely have an environment club at our school. We have fresh soil, we will be benefiting the environment and educational.

Firstly, our school has fresh soil. We can just dig a hole, put some seeds in and finally cover the soil and us kids promise to water it daily. This is why an environment club would be good.

Secondly, an environment club would be benefiting the environment because plants take our carbon dioxide and gives us fresh air. This is why an environment club would be needed.

Finally, an environment club is educational. We learn about how seeds grow and we see it grow almost every day. This is why an environment would be needed at our school.

In conclusion, we need an environment club. It would help us children learn a lot.

  4. Let’s Make Our School Greener!

    Dear Principal,

Have you ever wondered what kind of world we will live in when we grow up? Will there be clean air, healthy animals, and beautiful green trees? Or will there be rubbish-covered parks, polluted oceans, and sick animals with nowhere to live? The answer depends on what we do now. That’s why I believe we need an Environment Club at our school.

Our school teaches us how to read, write, and do maths. But shouldn’t we also learn how to take care of our planet? An Environment Club would help students learn how to protect nature, save water, plant trees, recycle properly, and make a real difference. Together, we can become Earth’s young heroes!

Without this club, many students may not know how serious these problems are. They might not realise that turtles are dying from eating plastic, or that trees are being cut down faster than they can grow. Do we really want to stand by and do nothing while our Earth is being harmed? Of course not!

We need this club so that we can work together, learn together, and take action together. Imagine students picking up litter, planting flowers, and making posters to raise awareness — all proudly saying, “We care!”

The time to act is now. If we wait, it might be too late. Let’s not be the school that ignored the problem — let’s be the school that led the change.

Please, Principal, give us the chance to make our school and our world a better place. Let’s start the Environment Club today — for our future, and for the planet.

    Sincerely, Roy

  5. Dear principal,
I know and believe that our school must have an environment club. This will help both us and the school, to future changes and study. Students can use this knowledge to help the environment around us too! The environment club will bring students to discuss and talk about the problems of many disasters in the present. And I present this to you with three simple reasons.
Firstly, us students don’t learn enough! In the environment club we can learn about the causes and the solutions to pollution, littering and so much more. This will boost our knowledge and teach us all about saving our planet. Making future changes happen with environmental learners.
Secondly, this will not only benefit us but will also benefit our school. With students understanding the outcomes of things, this will make our school a better and safer place to learn. The environment club can run little programs or hang posters encouraging to stop littering! Our school can become a recommended school, encouraging more students to stop these pollutants.
Lastly, us students can make a change when we’re older, or maybe now! If the environment club existed, our world will become a less polluted place. The world could change and we could stop worrying about animals dying, or forests being culled. We could live in harmony with less Co2 contaminating the air.
I hope you understand that our school is in need of an environment club. Our world could change in a good way and our school could be benefited, but if we don’t act now pollution is coming and it will be too late. So an environment club is the only way!
    Sincerely, Emma
