    I am writing to make an unconventional but sincere request that I believe could add a memorable aspect to our upcoming class session. Specifically, I would like to ask if you would consider wearing a banana costume to class for a single lesson.

    While this may seem humorous, the idea carries genuine educational value. Research in education has long shown that humour and novelty can significantly enhance student engagement and memory retention. A brief, light-hearted event of this nature could refresh the classroom atmosphere, spark enthusiasm, and strengthen the sense of community among students. Moreover, your participation would demonstrate a willingness to connect with students beyond formal instruction, which could foster an even greater respect for your openness and creativity as an educator.

    I understand that the request may appear unorthodox, and I emphasise that it is not made out of whim. The concept emerged from a class discussion about how unexpected experiences influence learning.     Hello Josh,

    I hope this message finds you well! As we’re approaching the last class of the writing program, I wanted to remind you of the promise you made about wearing a banana costume on our final class. We’ve all been looking forward to this with excitement and curiosity, and we’re hoping you can still bring the fun we’ve been looking foreward to.

    First, we believe we’ve earned it. Throughout the 10 classes, we’ve been a well behaved class. We’ve stayed focused during lessons, participated throughly and made an effort to contribute in discussions. Following through on the costume promise would feel like a fun reward for the effort and energy we’ve all brought to this class.

    Second, it would be a great way to build a sense of class spirit and end the course on a high note. Sometimes, education can be boring but moments like this help remind us that learning can also be fun. In online classes, it’s easy to feel distracted but something silly like this can bring everyone together, even through a screen!

    Third, it would make this class truly unforgettable. Online classes are exhausting but a teacher showing up in a banana costume on Zoom? That’s the kind of thing we’ll remember, even long after the lesson. It would be a fun and memorable way to wrap things up.

    Thank you again for teaching us for the past 10 days. The lessons have been fun and engaging, following through on your banana costume promise would be perfect. We really hope you’ll wear the costume, not just for the laughs, but as a reminder that learning can be fun.

    The reason being why I choose you Josh is because you show empathy towards everyone and make it more fun for all ages! Your participation is essential to the plan and will be greatly appreciated by the team.. Also by wearing a banana costume,you’ll be playing a key role in making the day memorable for everyone involved.
