NSW NAPLAN RESULTS: TOP 10 SCHOOLS RANKED

In 2023, NAPLAN underwent major changes. These changes included a shift to online testing, moving the testing dates forward and new proficiency standards.
At the time of the announcement, many education experts warned that 2023 results might be lower than usual.
While we wait for NAPLAN 2024, to make everything easier, we’ve ranked the top 10 NSW schools based on their cumulative NAPLAN results and included bits about overall development in these schools:
- Sydney Grammar School in Darlinghurst, a private institution, scored 628 in NAPLAN. It has 1,874 students and a teacher ratio of 1:8.

- Concord West Public School, a state school in Concord West, achieved a NAPLAN score of 613.8 and has 358 students with a 1:16 teacher ratio.

- Anzac Park Public School in Cammeray, a private school, has a NAPLAN score of 605.8, with 569 students and a 1:22 teacher ratio.

- North Cross Christian School in Ryde, an independent Christian primary school, has a NAPLAN score of 595.2, with 349 students and a 1:13 teacher ratio.

- Beecroft Public School in Beecroft, a state school, achieved a NAPLAN score of 594.6 with 863 students and a 1:23 teacher ratio.

- Abbotsleigh in Wahroonga, a private primary school, has a NAPLAN score of 593 and 1,459 students, with a teacher ratio of 1:10.

- Artarmon Public School in Artarmon, a state school, recorded a NAPLAN score of 590.2, with 1,173 students and a 1:22 teacher ratio.

- Arden Anglican School in Epping, a co-ed independent primary school, achieved a NAPLAN score of 590, with 801 students and a 1:11 teacher ratio.
