  1. Subject Line: Danger to Students – The Old Playground
    Dear Council Member,
A playground is an essential part of the communityy; it allows for students to get recess exercise, establish friendships, and learn invaluable social skills for a growing and changing student body. However, with the current condition of the playground, students leave frustrated, and even worse, there come back with safety concerns. And they are not the only ones. It’s easy to see how much rust coats any equipment- so much so that I had to write an email to you about it. As School Leader of The Committee Council, everyone came with their concerns.
Students have come to me expressing their concerns about the equipment and cracked pavement or lack of play structures that encourage play. The swings creak with no one on them, the slide is faded and rough, and there are many areas of the playground that show disrepair. Where there used to be sounds of laughter and energy on a warm day now is a boring, unsafe, and unappealing place to spend playtime.
Studies have shown that play and physical exercise contribute greatly to the cognitive and emotional development of children. Therefore, a renovated playground not only provides students with access to active play, but also teaches them about teamwork, group collaboration, problem-solving, and overcoming Obstacles. Without a renovation attempt, students are basically left with a playground set that does not meet their developmental needs and recreational desires.
We intend to add new equipment in exchange for outdated options, resurface areas that are cracked and present safety issues, and include equipment that boasts sensory integration options, as well as shaded seating options. Not only will this create a safe, inclusive, inviting atmosphere of play, but constant engagement from students of all ages.
Furthermore, a safe playground will encourage healthy developments within a school community that values such holistic growth. This will ensure that the playground is used for its natural intentions and fosters not only physical inclusion, but also emotional stability, as students are able to play, destress, and recharge during critical downtime. They deserve refuge that is comfortable and safe for their well-being.

  2. EMAILS 2.0
    Email1
Subject: To request inspect on school playground.

    To: MemberCouncil.gmail.com.au

    Dear Local Council,
Conceptualise, a school playground with its monkey bars rotting, the once bright yellow slide fainted in colour looking as if it was a hundred years old, the creeking floorboards as loud as can be, cracked concrete making the playground even worser, faded markings on the basketball court and worst of all the sunlight digging right into your skin with there being limited shade for all students during summer this isn’t a 2 star rated school but one of the good rated.

Even having one step in the playground can give any one shivers with no knowing of the cruel traps laid beneath the ground. Playing in the playground is a moment of pure misery. From running to playing there no greater sense of dread, the beautiful flowers and trees now swaying around, its petal and branches now dull in colour.

Just a few moths ago 8 year old Anthony Carlos was on swings going up and down when the swing broke and the kid fell to the ground stating he heard his arm crack, he had done an X-ray and the boy found out he had fractured his elbow, his future dreams of becoming a tennis player now savagely destroyed.

Another one of the many great problems are that if the playgrounds grass is to big it may become a good habitat for many creatures. This can become a problem as creatures may harm many children and many serious situations.

Finally, I request the local council to inspect the school and raise support by giving someone the responsibility to help the school become a better place. Just imagine how many times better the playground will become once it is renovated with nothing to worry about.

    Sincerely,
    Pukhraj

    Email 2
Subject: For a sponsorship to the school.

    To: Business owner Maverick ( Maverick2456.gmail.com.au. )

Hello, Maverick as you have probably guessed by subject, I am writing this Email to hopefully convince you to sponsor the school as its playground is in horrendous condition, loose platforms, sharp metal rods already rotting within the darkness one cut and its over, holes in the ground where there used to be plants not dug out by the roots.

The playground should be a place of leisure, socialising and playing but if the playground and the equipment given is bad than it would be difficult for kids to embrace their restlessness and energy if that’s taken from them kids will probably overtime get anxiety and stress.

If you, Maverick, raise sponsorship or even raise a bit of money for the school the principal may even start renovating the playground and it will became an overall better place, kids won’t get hurt.

Imagine the dark and mischievous playground becoming better the dead trees now in a fluffy bundle of leaves, the disgusting rotting monkey bars now sparkling in the day, more benches added and the touch of the coloured walls spreading its freshness throughout you. The once annoying faded lines on the basketball court now renewed, all this can happen just by sponsoring the school.

Hopefully because of all the above arguments I have successfully convinced you to raise some money and I kindly ask you to sponsor the school as it will help make the school a more safe and enjoyable place.

    Regards,
    Pukhraj
