The egregious idea of mandatory solar power will lead to multiple consequences, not environmental solutions. Mandatory solar power for homes will be a serious issue, and certainly not solve any global problems. Solar power takes up an extreme amount of space, costs an unnecessary amount of money, and is overly fragile and hard to maintain. Let’s explore the economic, environmental, and logistical reasons why solar power must be banned.
To start off with, solar power is unusually bulky, and takes up more space rather than helps. Would you want our luscious green fields to be wasted would you? Well, if solar power becomes mandatory, then those fields will be wasted. Imagine what that would lead to? To more playgrounds and no more places to run wild. All this would all be because of mandatory solar power. If we can solar power mandatory to all homes, then where would the storage space used by those huge items be replaced?
Moreover, solar power costs an extreme amount of money. We are currently not using solar power a lot as a country, so the transition will be expensive. Plus, are we going to make any profit or get any of that money back? There is absolutely no point in having the whole country to switch if we are not going to make anything out of it. Mandatory solar power is just another way we will waste money.
In addition, solar power is fragile and easy to break. This will mean we will have to take extra care to make sure our energy source won’t break. But why do that when you can choose to not use solar power and not have to have any care. It is clear that solar power is just a complete waste of time and effort and by making solar power mandatory we are just wasting everyone’s time.
In summation, mandatory solar power is an egregious idea. It is a waste of space, money, and time. It is unquestionable that mandatory solar power must not be implemented in Australia. So for the sake of our community, make sure the use of solar power does not become mandatory, and I guarantee our community will continue to strive for excellence.

We must make solar power mandatory for all homes. Using electricity burns fossil fuels, causing global warming and appalling damage to our environment. This problem can’t be overlooked any longer, so let’s explore the environmental, economic and logistical aspects of solar power.
Firstly, the environmental benefits of solar power are unquestionable. Fossil fuels release harmful gases into the atmosphere, but solar energy uses the rays of the sun to make energy without releasing anything that harms the ecosystem, presenting an environment friendly solution. Fossil fuels also increase global warming, making ocean levels rise rapidly. This is a problem that can be dealt with if every house uses solar power. Therefore, it is undeniable that we must use solar power as an alternative to electricity.
Secondly, they are becoming more accessible to lots more people. However, there is still a wide range of people who can’t afford them, making solar panels difficult to get. However, the government could reduce the price so that more people can afford them, allowing everyone to get solar power for their homes. This will also save money in the long run as it will reduce those egregious electricity bills.
Finally, we see the logistics of solar power. Many people aren’t capable of owning solar panels due to their land, because they do not have the correct land. However, this can be addressed by improving solar technology, allowing it so a larger range of people can use it.
In conclusion, solar power can lead to a greener, thriving future, even if there are challenges along the way to make it suitable to everyone. Many argue that making solar power mandatory for all homes could greatly reduce our reliance on fossil fuels and lower harmful emissions. By switching to solar energy, communities have the opportunity to improve air quality and invest in a sustainable future that benefits both the environment and public health.
However, the idea of requiring every household to install solar panels also brings challenges. Although the long-term savings on electricity bills and the potential for job creation in the renewable energy part supports this idea, the high costs of purchasing and installing solar panels can be a serious barrier for many families. To make such a policy work, governments would need to step in with financial support, such as subsidies or low-interest loans, to help households cover these upfront expenses. This financial assistance could help ease the burden on low-income families while promoting a wider transition to cleaner energy.
Another challenge is that not every home is a good for solar panels. Some houses do not get enough sunlight because of their location, tall trees nearby, or the cloudy weather. Without enough sunlight, solar panels cannot work well. Additional equipment, like batteries, might be needed to store energy for darker days, making the whole system more complicated.

Everyone has abandoned fossil fuels and gas as the environment starts to enlighten with species thriving in the nature. It would reduce environmental issues like global warming while saving thousands of dollars. Solar panels are a great way to create renewable energy. I think it should be compulsory to add solar panels on all homes.
Firstly, solar panels are renewable making it ecofriendly. Instead of using fossil fuel that harms the planet in everyday objects, we can stop burning them and rely mostly on the sun’s energy. This way we can slow climate change saving thousands of animals. For example, the polar pears are losing ice needed for their prey to make their young making them it harder to survive. Fossil fuels and solar energy don’t have any differences that impact us so we should change to solar energy.
Additionally, solar panels are affordable to most families. Many people believe that this traditional and sustainable way of using the sun’s energy is expensive Fortunately, it saves money reducing your bills in long term. It can last for five years if it is cleaned and cared for. Therefore, it is compulsory to add solar panels on everybody’s roofs.
Finally, solar panels are efficient in many ways. For example, rather than going to the gas station, you can connect a cable to the battery on your roof to charge your electric vehicle. It saves a trip outside saving time and the risk of crashing. Also, it takes up very little space allowing you to put many on your roof collecting lots of energy if you can while small apartments that have a cover on their balcony can still add them.
Solar panels sometimes don’t work in certain weather. If there is no sun available, it will not create energy. A way to collect energy is when there is sunlight, you can save it in a battery and use it later. Some countries can’t do it because they don’t have sunlight at all in the year like Greenland. They would have to use a different type of renewable energy instead.
In conclusion, it is beneficial that all homes have solar panels on their roofs not only for their own savings but to create our world a more sustainable future. We need to continue to increase the amount of renewable energy. I encourage you to reduce fossil fuel and gases and change to solar panels. If this is not possible, you can try other renewable sources.

This may sound like a sci-fi movie, and you probably think that this is never going to happen. However, if we keep on using excess amounts of energy generated by fossil fuels, we might be put on the verge on destroying Earth and actually needing to evacuate. How can we stop this from happening? There is one extremely easy solution, to require mandatory solar power for all households. Doing this helps the environment improve, it helps save lots of money and it will really help countries and states who rely on fossil fuels only.

Solar panels must not be mandatory, imagine a world covered in solar panels wouldn’t that be ugly. There are many different eco-friendly ways to produce energy, that isn’t solar energy. If it was mandatory, there would be some serious issues. With so much energy what could happen? Very bad things could happen ethically, logistically, and economically.
Logically movement is an exercise and can produce energy, once I went to a Coldplay concert, they had kinetic floors that people jumped and danced on, in the upper part of the stadium there were bikes that if you biked then they would produce energy. Logistically, solar panels take up so much space yet are so fragile. A single crack in a solar panel could stop it from working. More resilient sources would be, hydropower, wind turbines, in fact some might even run on a treadmill to produce energy. What if one day there is no sun, then energy would go out, or maybe at night someone is trying to work or read, they can’t because there is no energy. Hydropower is always on therefore providing constant energy. Wind is at least more reliable than solar panels especially if we put them up in the mountains, there it’s windier. We can’t put solar panels everywhere, or in MyArchiSchool’s founder’s perspective “Architects can’t just put solar panels everywhere, that is so ugly. Real architects put in solar panels with grace without making an uncomfortable feeling in the people. Or else nobody would want to go there!”-Alice Cheung-.
Ethically solar panels would hog all the sunlight, killing the plants, then the consumers, then the predator, and bigger predator and on, and on, and on. In other words, it would kill the ecosystem, the food chain would collapse, in fact eventually leading to us. By making solar panel energy mandatory, where just killing organisms until there are no more. Maybe some elephants or rhinos stumbled on to them, this way the lookouts would kill them. According to Premier Solar Cleaning Birds are attracted to solar panels because it’s a safe place to build nests; Rodents often tend to chew on wires mainly squirrels; and wasps and bees that are looking for conditions for a home, solar panels give them a cool spot from the sun. Then the birds would probably die: their nest fallen on the ground, sparking them burning them alive, People not wanting them to block the sunlight therefore shooting them or capturing them. The squirrels and mice would get electrocuted or killed by anti-pest-companies. The bees and wasps, entangle their flammable nests and boom all killed. Adding on that the fire haphazard would perhaps start a fire killing more animals. And we already have driven many animals extinct, now to more?
Economically solar panels cost a lot. If solar power was mandatory; According to Consumer Affairs, solar panels cost in 2025 cost 18,000$USD-43,000$USD and they take time to build creating a nuisance for your home. Earphones cost 100$-400$ speaking in quality but can reach to a whooping 1000$ according to PC MAG. You’ll often want to buy noise blockers because of the construction noise. So delicate and fragile repairs cost 550$-120$. Quite expensive especially since they break very often. Insurance costs 100$-1000$ annually. Adding on that if you start a fire, you’ll be charged a lot of money. Adding on that according Law Insider you’ll be charged extra fees if you start a fire such as the impact fee, access fee, contract fee, annual special tax fee and many more. If solar power was mandatory, then all housing must have it. If an apartment has solar panels than the apartment will cost more. According to The National Renewable Energy Laboratory, solar panel fields cost 1.06$ per watt. If solar power was mandatory, then we would plunge into a similar state like The Great Depression.
In summary, solar power never ever should be mandatory. If it was, we would kill many animals and drive them to extinction; eventually leading to us killing ourselves. Such annoying fragile power sources can easily break, and not give constant energy, comparing to the hydropower, wind, and movement energy, which give constant mostly energy. If solar power was mandatory, then we would plunge into expenses and Great-Depression-like terms. Therefore, I strongly state that solar power should not be mandatory, and you should help support!
